Welcome to UL Lafayette TM ! Your successful transition to University life begins with Adult Orientation. All new students are required to attend the one-day program, where they meet with advisors, register for classes, learn about campus programs and resources, and connect with fellow Ragin’ Cajuns®. Orientation Fee Adult Orientation is $ 60, and includes all program materials, lunch, a Ragin’ Cajuns ® spirit shirt and bag. *Students attending late summer orientation on June 3 or the late fall orientation on August 18 will incur a $50 late course registration fee that will be applied to their tuition and fees. Students are encouraged to attend the May 20, June 25, or July 23 orientations to avoid this late fee. Step 1

Visit orientation.louisiana.edu/register for step-by-step instructions on how to create your password and log into the Orientation registration system.

Your ULID (C00000000) can be found on your orientation welcome letter, or your acceptance letter from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Step 3

Pay your orientation fee. Instructions on how to pay

the orientation fee are found on the website in Step 1.

Music Major Audition Requirements

All students planning on majoring in music or music education are required to audition for admittance into the music program prior to attending Orientation. Call the School of Music at 337-482-6016, or email [email protected].

Financial Aid

If you are requesting financial aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) online at fafsa.ed.gov and submit your information to UL LafayetteTM. The UL Lafayette School Code is 002031.
