The following sessions are held in the Adult Learning Center (K-Building); Students will start classes the first Monday of the next month. Space is limited and students are served on a first come; first served basis; If you arrive after the start time, you will be asked to come back for the next session. If you cannot complete the Orientation as scheduled, you will be required to start over. Directions: 1.Take Eisenhower Pkwy turn onto Macon Tech Dr. (Across from the mall) 2. Once on Macon Tech Drive, follow the signs: The Adult Learning Center is at the top of the hill. Students ages 16 or 17 MUST Pre-Register A Parent or legal guardian, MUST PRE-REGISTER 16 and 17 year olds, no later than the week before orientation at the Adult Learning Center between the hours of 8:15 to 4:15 Monday – Thursday or 8:15 to 2:15 on Fridays. To pre-register you must provide the following documentation: Withdrawal form from the last school attended Parent/Legal Guardian Picture ID Applicant Picture ID Proof of Legal Guardianship (Birth Certificate) Complete the authorization forms required for admission into the program Adult Education Program K Building 3300 Macon Tech Drive Macon, Georgia 31206 478-757-6669 Central Georgia Technical College A Unit of the Technical System of Georgia A Unit of the Technical College System of Georgia If you have successfully completed any part of the GED Test OR If you have been referred by the CGTC Office of Admissions after taking the place- ment exam, you MUST bring your documentation to the orientation session to ensure you are as- sessed in the proper area(s). A new GED test begins January 2014. If you have passed parts of the GED Test, but have one or more sections left to take as of December 31, 2013, you will be required to retake the whole test in order to obtain a diploma, including those sections previously passed.
