INTRODUCTION This is an initiative by 15/11! :) There are around 80 volunteers. Beneficiary: Operation Smiles Singapore Objective: To raise awareness for

Operation Smile Singapore, a non-for-profit organisation that provides free treatment to children and adults suffering from cleft lips and cleft palates.

3 FACTS ABOUT CLEFT LIP Results in eating problems,

speech problems, hearing loss and dental problems

Each operation takes 45 minutes, and for approximately SGD $360

1.87 per 1000 babies have this deformity in Singapore

PROCEDURE Please report at 9.45am for attendance taking. Collect your boards from the logistics team

after taking attendance. IMPT: Remember to inform the public that we

will be posting their photos on Facebook before taking photos with them!

CIP HOURS CIP hours will be awarded according to

the number of smiles each group get. 150 smiles per group = 10 hours of CIP

2 hours will be awarded for this briefing Max is 12 hours.
