INTRODUCTION This is an initiative by 15/11! :) There are around 80 volunteers. Beneficiary: Operation Smiles Singapore Objective: To raise awareness for
Operation Smile Singapore, a non-for-profit organisation that provides free treatment to children and adults suffering from cleft lips and cleft palates.

speech problems, hearing loss and dental problems
Each operation takes 45 minutes, and for approximately SGD $360
1.87 per 1000 babies have this deformity in Singapore

photos.

DATE & TIME 18 Dec and/or 30 Dec. Report at 945! It will end at around 7pm.
VENUE Outside Ngee Ann City Shopping Mall. CG reps please help to organise

WET WEATHER PLAN Just in case it rains, go to the nearest shelter ASAP. Our organisers will contact you then. DO NOT collect smiles in any shopping malls You can proceed with collecting smiles once you get the
green light from the organisers

GROUPINGS Please take note of who is in charge of
your class and their contact details. Tell the OC member in charge of your

PROCEDURE Please report at 9.45am for attendance taking. Collect your boards from the logistics team
after taking attendance. IMPT: Remember to inform the public that we
will be posting their photos on Facebook before taking photos with them!
Lunch: 20/11 & 15/11 : 12-1pm 11/11 & 17/11: 1-2pm
CONT’D… Return to in front of Ngee Ann City to
transfer photos if memory is full. Try to get as many photos as possible!
(our aim is 2000 smiles) Report back to booth at 1845pm. (MUST
report back to booth otherwise hours will not be counted)

Each ornament represents 50 smiles
At 2000 smiles, a star will be placed on top.

CIP HOURS CIP hours will be awarded according to
the number of smiles each group get. 150 smiles per group = 10 hours of CIP
2 hours will be awarded for this briefing Max is 12 hours.

Road safety Not to collect from buildings Drink water Can try to get more smiles but not inside
the shopping malls or buildings

member in charge of your class Group leaders to give Hp No. to the OC
