Days before the coronavirus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) - the largest nation on the continent of Africa - Jesus visited Kinshasa with a dramatic demonstration of His power, love and healing. For several years we have felt an urgency to return to the DRC, but finances have not been available. I told the pastors, “God will provide when the time is right.” The Lord did provide the needed funds at just the right time. My essential team consisted of myself and one photographer. Rev. Jennifer Yeager and I arrive with great expectation as we are received by the government and facilitated in miraculous ways.

Just as major improvements are being made to the infrastructure of Kinshasa, the government is forced to declare a state of emergency due to the coronavirus. Only basic movements, such as finding food, are allowed. This is one of scores of nations globally that are being challenged by this invisible enemy. The church leaders in Kinshasa are rejoicing because we are bringing the truths of healing and authority in Christ to their people just in time.

The DRC is a significant nation in Africa. The current President is a born again Christian. Pray for him as he faces the challenges of a nation that has experienced so much war, corruption and economic hardship. The people are eager for change. We are told by high officials, “We believe that your ministry will bring healing to our nation.”
