ADFS - Active Directory Federation ServicesWhat is ADFS– Active Directory Federation Services – Supplier External Active Directory– Provides suppliers the ability to reset their own passwords and more

Why is Oshkosh moving to ADFS– Suppliers have to email and or call us directly to have this action performed– Suppliers then have to wait for us to reset the password and notify them when done

What benefits are their to the suppliers moving to ADFS– Ability to reset your own password and not have to work through Oshkosh– Email address can now be used to login to Reliance instead of the preassigned PN#

(partner number)– User name and password is retained for 2 hours so long as you don’t close your

browser. This allows you to click the Login button and be in Reliance (time out function is still 30 minutes for Reliance)

ADFS – Step 1- Reset Password

Navigate to the OSN Portal– https://osn.oshkoshcorp.com/

Select Oshkosh Reliance Login

This will open a Reliance login page

Select Login

ADFS – Display ScreenThe following page will be displayed and will now be your login screen.

ADFS – Step 2 - Reset Password

Key in your PN# partner number for initial login then Email Address willwork in future login

Key in the Oshkosh default password– Password provided in EmailSelect Sign in

ADFS – Step 3 - Reset Password Resetting Password

Key in password from email as old password

Key in your new password

Confirm you new password

Select submit

Password Rules

8 characters long– 1 upper case– 1 lower case – 1 special character

Passwords expire every 60 days

Cannot use the same password 24 times

Setting up Security Questions

Select “Manage My Account Questions”

Key in your email address or PN# partner number

Key in your new password

Select “Sign in”


ADFS – Step 5 - Managing Security Questions

Select the following:

Set Password Security Questions

Select and answer 3 questions from drop

down menu

Security questions will be used for the following:

Reset password if forgotten

Change password

Update security questions

ADFS – Step 6 cont. - Managing Security Questions All questions must be answer or you will get an error from the system

Once complete screen will show questions and answers

Select “Save”

Select “Return to Oshkosh Reliance”

Regional Preferences

Select your Time Zone– Start typing a major city

• (i.e. Chicago for CST or Detroit for Eastern time zone

Select you Locale– Type English and select the following

“English (United States)”

Select Login and you will be in Reliance

Relaunch Reliance and Login
