Jesus is risen! Let us sing! Praise to the ever-living King! Alleluia, Alleluia! Praise him in song, ye Seraphim! Praise him with joy, ye Cherubim!

Alleluia, Alleluia! Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!

On this most holy day of days, Let us together sing his praise! Alleluia, Alleluia! Raise joyful voices to the sky! Sing out, ye heavens, in reply:

To God the Father let us sing, to God the Son, our risen King, Alleluia, Alleluia! And equally let us adore, the Holy Spirit evermore.

Cantor: Kýrie, eléison All: Kýrie, eléison. (Lord, have mercy.)

Cantor: Christe, eléison All: Christe, eléison. (Christ, have mercy.)

Cantor: Kýrie, eléison All: Kýrie, eléison. (Lord, have mercy.)

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will.

We praise You, we bless You, we adore You, we glorify You, We give You thanks for Your great glory, Lord God, heavenly King, O God, almighty Father.

Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, You take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; You take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; You are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.

For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the Glory of God the Father. Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;

through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven, (at the words that follow up to and including and became man, all bow)

and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered death and was buried,

and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son, Who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, Who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins

and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

When I walk through deep waters, I know that You will be with me. When I'm standing in the fire, I will not be overcome.

Through the valley of the shadow, I will not fear.

I am not alone, I am not alone, You will go before me, You will never leave me.

In the midst of deep sorrow, I see Your light is breaking through. The dark of night will not overtake me; I am pressing into You.

Lord, You fight my every battle, and I will not fear.

You amaze me, redeem me; You call me as Your own.

You're my strength, You're my defender, You're my refuge in the storm. Through these trials You've always been faithful; You bring healing to my soul!

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and earth are full of Your glory.

Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.

Hosanna in the highest.

Priest: The mystery of faith. All: Save us, Savior of the world,

For by your Cross and Resurrection You have set us free.

You are here, moving in our midst; I worship You, I worship You. You are here, working in this place; I worship You, I worship You.

You are Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness, my God, that is who You are.

You are here, touching every heart; I worship You, I worship You. You are here, healing every heart; I worship You, I worship You.

You are here, turning lives around; I worship You, I worship You. You are here, mending every heart; I worship You, I worship You.

Even when I don't see it, You're working. Even when I don't feel it, You're working. You never stop, You never stop working. You never stop, You never stop working.

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: miserere nobis. (Have mercy on us.)

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: miserere nobis. (Have mercy on us.)

Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world: dona nobis pacem, dona nobis pacem.

(Grant us peace, grant us peace.)

He's coming on the clouds; Kings and kingdoms will bow down. And every chain will break as broken hearts declare His praise, For who can stop the Lord almighty?

Our God is the Lion, the Lion of Judah. He's roaring with power and fighting our battles, And every knee will bow before Him. Our God is the Lamb, the Lamb that was slain For the sin of the world; His blood breaks the chains. And every knee will bow before the Lion and the Lamb. Every knee will bow before Him.

So open up the gates, make way before the King of kings. Our God who comes to save is here to set the captives free, For who can stop the Lord almighty?

Who can stop the Lord almighty? Who can stop the Lord?

A few words about your faithful sacrifice…

The Church’s mission continues! Because regular operating expenses remain (salaries, facility maintenance, etc.) please continue your regular tithe.

This is extremely critical in an effort to minimize future financial hardship. If you (or someone you know) do not use electronic giving, please go to the DONATE button at sttimothymesa.org and follow the simple instructions

for safe, reoccurring electronic giving to the General Collection.

For your convenience we now have “text to give”! Simply text “Sttims” to 555888 and it will take you to the general fund page. Give it a try. Typically, we rely heavily

on donations through the collection basket at Mass. Thank you!

Please note: Due to increased Internet traffic, you may encounter difficulty with electronic giving. Please do not despair. We also have added a new and secure drop box between the office and Church doors.

Encountering Christ

—Jay Fadden, March 2020 Catholic TV Monthly, CatholicTV.org (Jay’s words for the March edition were penned before the COVID-19 mess, yet they are amazingly appropriate and printed here with permission.)

V. Queen of Heaven, rejoice. Alleluia. R. For He, whom you did merit to bear. Alleluia. V. Has risen as He said. Alleluia. R. Pray for us to God. Alleluia. V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary. Alleluia. R. Because the Lord has truly risen. Alleluia.

Let us pray O God, Who gave joy to the world through the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, grant we pray, that through the intercession of His

mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Pray the Regina Caeli (Queen of Heaven) with the Universal Church at noon during the Easter Season!

W ith fear and anxiety permeating the world, routines disrupted and questions unanswered, we may find ourselves isolated, perplexed,

confused and generally out-of-sorts; even distant from God. Bottom line, we need to listen to what we know to be true: God is never distant from us. He is ever-present and ever-merciful. As we seek His guidance, we look for creative and unique ways to deal with our current stresses. We invite Him to walk with us. Here are a few ideas from parishioners that may be helpful:

• Think outside the box: Campout in the family room, have a character costume party (see the Cady family at left), have breakfast for dinner, serenade a neighbor across the backyard fence.

• Pick up the phone and call a relative or friend you haven’t seen in a while; especially someone who may be alone now. Read a story on a group phone call. Write a snail-mail letter or card. If you are alone, make a conscious effort to connect with family and friends.

• Plant a window garden, make homemade lemonade, take walks, watch the night sky, dig out old photo albums, create new photo albums.

• If you have teens, let them plan and make a meal or two or three. Let go of control and let them have fun. Do small home repairs as a family.

• Take online tours of museums, national parks or enjoy other virtual experiences. Learn a new craft or hobby. Invite God to inspire you!
