Campus

Cyberary

A 17-hectare oasis in Rajendranagar,

Hyderabad, MANAGE with its all-stone

architecture, lush green campus and landscaped

gardens easily figures among the best campuses

in the South – “the ideal learning environment

for young minds”. It goes into making the 2 years

of learning enjoyable and memorable.

The hi-tech Cyberary at MANAGE is a learning

center of global standards. It is silo of

information with 14,000 books on management,

170 Indian and foreign journals, and over 100

newsletters and conference proceedings.

Important databases include India Commodities,

Prowess , Ind ias ta t and ABI-In form

Management Collection from ProQuest which

provide information on the global economy, plus

many others. Information dissemination services

offered by the center include access to the library

database, literature search, bibliographies and

reprographic services.

Lecture Halls

The roomy lecture halls are well-furnished and

air-conditioned. They are equipped with modern

teaching-learning aids such as LCD projectors,

Wi-Fi connectivity, computer systems, media lab

and other A/V systems.

Accommodation - A Home Away

from Home

Sports and Recreation - Invigorating the

Body and Mind

The Selection Process

Pedagogy

With most of the graduation courses focused

primarily on technical knowledge and skills, our

young graduates approach Agriculture more as a

science than as a business. Therefore, these

technically qualified graduates need to develop

good managerial skills to function effectively in

Agri-Business firms – their main employers.

MANAGE’s program is a step forward in this

direction. With a credit load of 114, divided into

compulsory courses, Electives and a Summer

Project, our course structure ensures that the

‘fresh minds’ are chiseled into expert managers.

The MANAGE curriculum adopts a rigorous

case-based approach with lectures, simulation

games, and industry-sponsored training and live

projects. On successful completion of the

program, candidates are awarded the Post

Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri-

Business Management). This program is

recognized by the All India Council for Technical

Education.

RECRUITER’S GUIDE 2014-2015

Business Communication.

Bridge Course

This course was started to bridge the knowledge

gap between agriculture and non-agriculture

graduates. Spread over the first trimester, it

UNIQUE FEATURESenables students from varied backgrounds to get

familiarized with the agricultural sector, helping

them avoid any glitches in the future.

Live Projects

Students are given the opportunity to gain

Summer Internship

The fourth trimester (8-10 weeks), during the

first year, is fully devoted to giving students

industry exposure in various companies: the

chance to have a closer look at Agri-Business

practices and applications. Simultaneously,

many companies view it as a pre-recruitment

exercise. In fact, many MANAGEites have got

pre-placement offers from reputed organizations,

impressing them with their efficiency.

Village Visit Program

A fortnight spent in the rural areas among the

rural folks helps the students get a feel of the real

Agro-economic scenario. They are able to

understand the constraints faced by the farmers,

as well as identify the potential areas of

development in agriculture. At the end of the

visit, a report is prepared analyzing and

identifying the development bottlenecks and

growth opportunities.
