The dual gel sacs and the unique moulded foam shape of the solution increases the support surface area. Here is the real beauty of the XP02 Sensi-Pulse conserver technology delivery system: no matter how fast a patient breathes, he/she will be assured a consistent and predictable volume of oxygen. Sensi-Pulse Technology customises the size of each bolus of oxygen delivered to a patient to meet the individual demand of that patient at any given moment. This is especially important when the patient naps of sleeps using the device. If a patient's respiratory rate and / or ventilation decreases with rest or sleep, the CP02 delivers the same amount of O2, simply by increasing the bolus per breath. The same applies if the patient missed a breath of series of breaths (i.e., cannula is displaced for a period), the XP02 re-calculated the rates and adjusts the bolus to deliver the full minute volume.

Another advantage of the XP02 with Sensi-Pulse is consistent oxygen purity.
