Transportation Sourcing Rate Management
§ Goal: Flexible and efficient maintenance of all rates and tariffs in OTM – - Top requested enhancement from Customer Advisory Board
§ 6.3: Start to expand ‘Bid Procurement’ to encompass ‘Rate Management’ – Sourcing will utilize OTM’s rating engine to compute costs – The user can define what rate components to include in a Bid via a rate template – Sourcing bids will be stored as rate offerings
§ Rate Management Roadmap: – A single interface to all rate maintenance needs – Update any component of an existing rate, including accessorial charges – Do mass updates (add/modify/delete) – Store / track changes made to rate records – Business Intelligence: report history and trends
