Noel Tipton

Noel Tipton, a native of Louisiana, holds performance degrees in piano from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Master’s degree from The Juilliard School of Music. He was an organ student of William Teague. He was associate organist and choirmaster at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Westfield, N.J. from 1960-1986, Minister of Music at Dennis Union Church from 1993–2007 and organist at The Wellfleet Methodist Church from 2007–2014.

He is author of A Christmas Prayer published by G. Schirmer in 1981, Dear Friends and Gentle Hearts 1996, Amherst Sabbath 1998 and I Ain’t Gonna Dance Alone in 2000. Listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America, he lives in Eastham, MA with his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth, and is the father of two daughters, a deceased son and five grandchildren.
