We wrote poems to introduce ourselves based on what we look like, but also

including our dreams and secret thoughts.

Who am I?

I’m the girl who used to hide in the shadowsbut then suddenly jumped out.You could call me the gossip girl who likes totalk and chat.I’m part Welsh, you know. Well maybe youdon’t because I haven’t told you yet.I like to spend time with my family, like my brother, mum and grandparents.I’m sort of a Tom-boy, but when it comes toparties, I’m a girly-girl.I like being picky with clothes and shoes.A little bit of makeup here and there, I’m notthe one who likes to load it

all on, you see.A vet is what I want I to be when I’m older,Driving a Kia Sorrento or maybe even anAston Martin, that’s if my dad will buy meone!!!!

I like cars. I think I take after my dad for a lot of things really,Like crazy, random ideas.Sometimes I wonder, whilst I’m just lying in bed, what’s going tohappen at school tomorrow. But I guess that’s just me!

Kyra Taylor

Who am I?

I’m the boy, who is nervous when I come back from holiday,

‘Cos I’m going up a year at school.

My dream is to be a footballer for Liverpool F.C. Because I like football and support Liverpool.

I’m the one who plays on his Game Boy Advance.

I have 2 games for it, Pokemon Fire red and 120 in one.

I love music and I like JLS, Trivium, AAR and loads more.

I would drive a Ferrari because I like the style and how it looks.

It’s shiny and I could get the colour I would like.I’m the boy who knows his times tables up to 12.

I would have a phone so I can talk to my friends.

I’d also have a laptop, so I can go on it when I want,

As I can’t go on it when I want now.

As part of our topic on finding out about Doncaster we have had the

joy of working with Matt Butt, an archaeologist, graphic designer,

cartographer and artist. Firstly we had an archaeological dig in the

school grounds, then we visited the local museum and made maps. We

have experimented with drawing full length versions of others in class

and finally we made some silent movies, which we hope to add soon.

Here are some photos of our adventures and lessons with Matt.
