Our Common Bond

Dear Friends of LASE:

The past year was a defining moment in LASE’s history. We dug deep to explore who we are, what we do, where we are going, and why it all matters.

LASE is much more than a special education service provider or a program. LASE is a cause that includes everyone with a heart for reaching, inspiring, and strengthening the potential and purpose of every child of the King. We are linked by a common bond: parents who strive to help their child flourish, Lutheran educators who dedicate their existence to teach all children, a supportive team of special education experts driven by their shared passion for educating the potential in every child of God, and volunteers and donors with their unique stories of why they engage in this compelling mission. Our new logo, revealed this year, reflects the community of LASE connected together in pursuit of Christian education for children with special needs.

Thanks for being an integral part of this association and for embracing our children.

In Christ,

One of the reasons LASE works is because of the dedicated, competent team of special education experts that make each day count for kids with special needs. Here’s why our teachers are committed to our mission:

“After more than twenty-five years of working for LASE, I am still motivated to come to work each day. Teaching for LASE allows me to use the gifts and talents God has given me to help His children with special needs. It is a joy to help each child learn and succeed to

the best of their ability.”

“I get out of bed in the morning and go to school because I want as many little children as possible to hear the Good News about Jesus every day. I know in my head that we can’t reach everyone, but I know in my heart that we have to reach as many as we can.”

“I want to help ‘my kids’ to be the best that they can be so that their days will be fulfilled and that in return they can reach out to others and make their dreams attainable.”
