OUR DEAR MEMBERS,

We are going through a period when the pace of change in the world has increased significantly with the pandemic process. This change requires us to be prepared for risks at any time and to adapt to new conditions quickly. This is where the importance of fast compliance and regulation management emerges. Because the management suitable for regulation will make the structures durable against these risks and oppor-tunities

To make the management systems for a sustainable existing system and a growth accordingly, much more predictive, more visionary, more durable to the sector! will be in the foresight and advice of the NGO executive boards. The system, which is shaped according to certain rules and principles and updated continuously according to the conditions of the day, will enable companies to have a long life. A proper and regular management structure will ensure the consumer confidence on brands. There is increa-sing the strength of our brands will provide a solid foundation with the establishment of our corporate governance structure and benefit Turkey.

For countries, the way to sustainability and development is through good management of companies. We face many problems especially in the pandemic process. All these difficulties are not experienced for the first time in our lives. Even in this bad process, good management will bring successful business results. The guarantee of having sustainable management of our companies and institutions is critical in order not to divide the business between partners and to be a small company country. It is impor-tant for attracting more investments and accessing finance more easily.

Our main goal is to see companies that keep up with the changing world. As TUYAD, we will hold our 9th Ordinary General Assembly in 2020 and we will take our new administ-rative board. Our general assembly has been postponed due to the epidemic.

In this context, as an association, the industry, including individuals, non-governmental organizations, public and companies! Our main goal will be to address problems and provide solutions.

So Our report for the second quarter of 2020 and raising awareness of corporate gover-nance is presented to you for your opinions.

We are implementing the work program we have determined in accordance with our country's agenda. We try to live the concept of corporate governance in our association by hosting specialist names in which we can listen to the telecommunications industry trends.

We offer companies, platforms where they can exchange views, with working groups, publications, agenda meetings, Anatolian seminars, panels and workshops. Despite the health problems, we create a professional sharing environment in discus-sing our problems. We will continue our efforts to spread and adopt corporate governance to a wide audience throughout the year. We continue to prepare and present product science reports to our active companies in compliance with international regulations.

As TUYAD, we continued our training programs. Our specialized publication has become other important information tools. Digital YASAM Magazine, our periodical publication, continued to serve with articles and visuals from our member and sector companies.

We continue to deliver new technologies on the agenda regularly to our members and non-members, both through our website and print publications.

We will continue our efforts with the aim of expanding the corporate governance appro-ach in new projects and events that we will implement with your suggestions. We thank you for your support and participation in the activities carried out so far within the framework of the TUYAD mission. We believe that the successful works of TUYAD will continue increasingly in the coming period with your contributions.

1- Studies for giving and expanding TKGS usage service free of charge to TUYAD corporate members were carried out. Legal proceedin-gs have been initiated against unauthorized uses.

2- TUYAD Association traditional questionnaire was conducted, studies were carried out on the subjects according to the evaluation. Sharing was provided with our sector companies.

3- Turkey Defense industry fair and seminar agreement was signed between TUYAD and SEDEC.

4- TUYAD Ordinary Board of Directors Meeting was hosted by Atmaca Elektronik (SUNNY).

5- MOU to provide sector firms with the right competition environment to the sector! A Memorandum of Understanding was prepared and signed by our sector companies.

6- The National Cyber Incidents Response Center, BTK Data Center, National Monitor Center and BTK Academy were opened with the participation of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and with the participation of TUYAD.

7- (MOU) Within the Scope of Goodwill Agreement, Evaluation Meeting was held at TUYAD Headquarters.

8- The Joint Training Meeting of the Ministry of Commerce and TUYAD was held with the participation of our manufacturer companies.

9- The 19th issue of Digital Life Magazine has been published.

10- An opinion was given on ITO about the unfounded insistence of organizer companies to participate in the activities under the name of President.

11- A meeting about the agenda was held at STK TV with the participation of TUYAD Chairman Hayrettin Özaydın.

12- The program Undertaken by Information Technology Association President and journalist Musa Savaș was organized with the participation of Omer Fatih Sayan who is Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure.

13- During the pandemic period, the video about shopkeepers problems was prepared and broadcasted.

14- The message of TUYAD Association President Hayrettin Özaydın was broadcasted on the support of tradesmen & shopkeepers who were most affected by the corona process.

15- Company visits were made on-site to get the problems and opinions of the sector companies.

16- During the Covid period, we held TUYAD Ordinary Board of Directors meetings electronically.

17- As TUYAD, we participated in the "Fight against Outbreak and Digital Transformation" Event.

18- A meeting with sector problems was held at PERPA Electronics Center.

19- The chairman of İzmir Chamber Ali ÜSTÜN visited the electronic room presidency. Opinion report on FMC was prepared.

20- VSAT Satellite Technologies Vocational Qualification Authority test and training

process studies were carried out.21- "The conference meeting on "Trade in the

Outbreak and Aftermath" was held with representatives of NGOs and the Minister of Trade.

22- With the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Export, efforts were given to export satellite buyers.

23- On behalf of the sector, meetings were held in the relevant committees at BTK, various Ministries, ITO and ISO.

24- TAZGİS "TUYAD Safe Communication System in Disaster Time" Project studies are continuing.

25- In cooperation with TUYAD-ZÜCDER, a meeting was held to cooperate under the roof of EVFED Federation by uniting our forces.

26- T.R. Our opinion on Ministry of Commerce, General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance on the Sale of Refurbished Products and the Draft Regulation was prepared and published.

27- 67th Professional Committees joint group meeting was held in Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

28- Studies for giving and expanding TKGS usage service free of charge to TUYAD corporate members were carried out. Legal action has been taken regarding the unauthorized use.

29- 'TUYAD is against all kinds of illegal trade: Its declaration has been renewed.

30- General consultation meeting was held by TUYAD BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

31- A press conference was held on SD Broad-casts and MPEG4 HD Broadcasting System under the chairmanship of TUYAD Board of Directors, Hayrettin Özaydın.

32- To the Sector! serial meetings were held on the compliance of companies with legal procedures, and a consensus was reached on the application of sanctions with the principle decision taken.

33- Studies on the development of the activities of IPTV Platform and Internet TV broadcas-ters providing international services in our country were carried out.

34- At ITU, under the chairmanship of Professor. Dr.Alim Rüstem Arslan, the sector was informed about the spread of Cube satellites. Studies continue to be used in order to expand production use.

35- In line with requests from our members On-site elimination of customs and TSE problems and expert services were provided.

36- Studies were carried out to increase TSE Service visas from one year to two years.

37- TRT e-Bandrol consultation meeting was held. A meeting was held at TRT Accounting and Revenue Department for the problems encountered during e-Bandrol application.

38- Work was started on export incentives provided by the Ministry of Trade and workshops were held with the delegation appointed by the general directorate.

39- With the Ministry of Industry field inspection experts, a report was conducted on Cemile Sultan Grove, about sector problems and the age of use of electronic products.

40- A consultation meeting was held with Deputy Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan, to the sector! Problem and improvement reconciliations were given.

41- A pairing workshop was held in PAY TV sector working system coding.

42- Import issues meeting of companies was held with the Ministry of Economy General Manager of Import.

43- Contributions were made to grant studies with non-profit institutions and organizati-ons.

44- Food and various equipment campaigns for TUYAD members to help animals were carried out under the control of Global Partner.

45- A cooperation meeting was held with the Istanbul Development Agency.

46- Our association studies with ELDAY related to electronic waste continue.

47- Sector and member companies were visited on-site. Business partnerships were increased by making company matches on the subject.

48- “Procedures on "Issuance of TUYAD APPROVAL" to the Satellite Receiver, LNB Cable and Connection Equipment have been completed.

49- A meeting was held with the participation of the Ministry of Commerce and PAY TV Platforms hosted by TUYAD.

50- TUYAD STUDENT PROJECT about "VAN 100. YIL UNIVERSITY" studies started.

51- An analysis report and a sector information note were prepared and shared about sales volumes and platform subscriptions to the sector.

52- Internet broadcasting arrangement and regulation studies as TUYAD continue.

53- Our vocational definition and certification studies are ongoing.

54- Our circular work numbered 2012/6 continues at the Ministry of Trade.

55- Cyber Security Report was presented to the Presidential Science, Technology and Innovation Policies Board.

56- KA tape installation test booklet was prepared originally for the sector installation companies.

57- Our manufacturer companies prepared after sales service adequacy protocol.

58- TUYAD sector studies program was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Uçarmak.

59- TUYAD report was prepared and presented to the Presidential Science, Technology and Innovation Policies Board.
