How we can helpShelter Scotland will provide parents with expert housing, welfare rights and money advice and advocacy.
Aberlour - Scotland’s Children’s Charity, will support parents and children in their homes, in school and in community settings.
Working with the family, local services and schools we will create a unique plan for each family to meet their long-term housing needs.
Families might be:
• struggling with rent arrears
• living in poor conditions
• living in an overcrowded property
• living in unsuitable temporary accommodation
• experiencing debt, money or benefit issues
• under threat of eviction
• living with domestic or external abuse
• affected by offending behaviour
• experiencing mental or physical health issues
• experiencing drug and alcohol issues
Referral guidanceFamilies referred by the local authority, delivery partners, local services or self-referral will be:
• homeless or at risk of homelessness
• in the south area of Glasgow
• a household with children aged 16 or under (including unborn children)
Referrals should be sent to [email protected].
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and delivered by Shelter Scotland and Aberlour - Scotland’s Children’s Charity, families will be empowered to put the needs of their children first, and find sustainable housing solutions that work for them.
