DIRECTOR'S NOTE

When it comes to director’s notes, I am always temptedto say as little as possible so as to not contaminate theaudience’s perception of the play. In this case, however, I do want to take a moment to thank the Theatre facultyand staff, first for the opportunity and second for thesupport they have given, and then there are thescholars. Though a dark comedy, Our Lady of 121stStreet has been brightened by the talent of our amazingCSUN students. It is their work and sacrifice that isresponsible for any merit in this production. If you likethe play, please tell your friends. And if you don’t likethe play, tell your frenemies but help us get our studentsthe full house they deserve! Onward,
