Del Escritorio del Padre José. ¡Feliz Pascua a todos! ¡Cristo ha resucitado, Aleluya! ¡Aleluya! Que el ejemplo de las santas mujeres en la tumba vacía sea nuestro modelo al acercarnos al Altar en esta Pascua. Cristo ya no está en la tumba. Ha

resucitado y está con nosotros, guiando nuestro camino. Hemos escuchado las lecturas estos últimos cuarenta días invitándonos a confiar como lo hizo la mujer del pozo, el ciego, incluso Marta y María al llorar la muerte de Lázaro. Los muchos ejemplos de estas personas en las Escrituras que tenían características muy humanas. Sentían dolor, sufrían y tenían miedo. Pero confiaban en el Cristo vivo y lograron ver, saciaron su sed y pudieron ver lo imposible hacerse posible al revivir su hermano. Le pido a Dios que podamos confiar en el Dios vivo y que podamos continuar llevando nuestros miedos al Dios vivo que hace todo posible. Tengan la certeza de que oro por ustedes y por sus seres queridos durante esta temporada de Pascua. De parte de los empleados de la parroquia, los sacerdotes, el diácono, la comunidad Verbum Dei y todos los que somos ministros en la parroquia y las escuelas de San Antonio, les deseamos una bendita Pascua. From the desk of Padre Jose, Happy Easter to all! Christ is Risen Alleluia! Alleluia! May the example of the holy women at the empty tomb be our model as we approach the Altar today for Easter. Christ is no longer in the tomb. He is Risen and with us, guiding our journey. We have heard the readings these past forty days inviting us to trust as the woman at the well, the blind man, and Martha and Mary as they mourned for Lazarus. The many examples of these people in Scripture have a very human characteristic to them. I would say they have pain, suffering, and fear. But as they trusted the living Christ, they were able to see, be able to quench their thirst, and be able to see the impossible be possible by the bringing back to life of their brother. May we trust in the living God and may we continue to bring our fears to the living God who will make all possible. Please be assured of my prayers for you and your loved ones this Easter Season. On behalf of the Parish Staff, Priests, Deacon, Verbum Dei Community and all of us who minister here at St. Anthony Parish and Schools, have a Blessed Easter. Fraternally, Padre Jose.
