Message from the Principal
Dear Wawona Family,
We want to thank everyone who attending our first Sweetheart
Dance on Friday, February 16. We had great attendance and
everyone had a blast.
We have several fundraisers that are scheduled for the month of
March and we look forward to meeting more families outside of
school. If you would like to help support in our fundraisers please
contact me and I will be happy to put you on the team.
We have had several families attend our Parent/Guardian Teacher
Conference. If you would like to meet with your students’ teachers
please speak with our Academic Counselor, Mrs. Cormier. We want
every student to receive C’s or better in all classes.
Looking ahead, we will be having our Multicultural Fair on Friday,
April 20, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Please plan on attending to enjoy
performances, crafts, food and fun.

What’s Up Wawona!
We promote a campus culture that is safe, welcoming, engaging, and supportive of instruction. We work
collaboratively between sites, with students and staff, to provide a positive educational environment for all
students.
The Chillax Club worked together
to support Smooches for
Pooches. The students made
Valentine’s Grams for the pup's
cages. For each gram they
donated on February 14th the
Fresno Humane Animal Services
secured a $1. Great team work.
