INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY
On behalf of our Guests from IHN, I would like
to thank all of you for making this Host Week so
comfortable once again. During this week we
housed 4 families which included 5 adults, and 5
children ages 8, 7, 4, 18 months and a 4-month-
old.
This Host Week, we saw volunteers of all ages,
make sacrifices to make our families feel safe,
warm and supported during this Lenten Season.
Thanks to all of you who helped with set up,
grocery shopping, donating gift cards, meal
preparation, hosting, sleeping, phone calls, break

supportive in our Ministry. We would also like to
thank Saint Vincent de Paul Society, The Knights

all extremely helpful during this Host Week.

always looking for new volunteers to help; make
it a family evening or sleepover or just come over

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
NEW PARISH RESOURCE:
FORMED NETWORK
Our parish has joined FORMED, an online
website that contains Catholic videos, and
downloadable audio or e-books. The site contains
series on Catholic Theology and Spirituality.
Over the course of next few years, we will be
utilizing these resources for group formation such
as Bible studies, catechist enrichment, prayer
groups, and small faith sharing groups.
The resources on FORMED can be used just by
individuals, or, used in group settings. Of note is
a weekly commentary on the Sunday readings
and a series on basic Catholic theology called
“Symbolon.”
The FORMED website is available to all
registered parishioners and everyone who live
within the parish boundaries, which is the
boundaries of Lakewood. To access the website,
you need to register first. You do that by:
1. Go to formed.org on your web browser
2. Click the button: ENTER CODE
3. Enter our parish code, all caps: YRP6YV
4. Enter your name, email, and a password. In
the future, the next time you enter the
FORMED site, all you will need is to enter
your email address and password. On most
web browsers, they have a feature that will
automatically enter your info when you log
on, if you care to use it to make logging on
easier in the future. Since this is not a high
target web site for hackers (we doubt anyone
would want to steal your FORMED access),
we suggest you keep your password simple
and different from your high-value websites,
such as your online banking. The site does
require that the password contain at least one
number and one special character (such as: ! $
#). Write your password down and keep it in a
handy place.
Once you’re in, explore the site’s resources!
ADVERTISING IN THE BULLETIN
Please consider advertising in the bulletin. The
income from ad sales not only pays for the cost of
the printing of the bulletin, but also generates
extra revenue.
You can arrange to place an ad or ask any
questions about advertising by calling the parish
office and asking to speak to either Cori or
Josette.
Also, please consider using the services of those
who do advertise in the bulletin and let them
know you saw their ad in our bulletin. Thanks.

4 Marzec 2018-niedziela - III tydzień Wielkiego postu - rok B/II
Nawracajcie się i wierzcie w Ewangelię!” (Mk 1,15).
Wielkie Rekolekcje WIELKOPOSTNE z O. Pawłem Drobot z Zakonu Ojców Redemptorystów z Polski
9 -11 Marzec 2018 - Parafia Saint Mary, Lakewood NJ
…ważne jest wyznanie Apostoła Pawła: „Żydzi żądają znaków, a Grecy szukają mądrości, my zaś głosimy
Wzywa, by umrzeć dla grzechu, a On wskrzesi nas z martwych i uczyni
świątynią, w której Bóg zamieszka! Owa przemiana, powoduje, że nasza codzienność staje się
urzeczywistnianiem planów Boga zmierzających do stworzenia człowieka nowego, człowieka w Chrystusie,
nowym Adamie. Do tego jesteśmy wezwani przez obmycie wodą chrztu.
