Written by Graham Greene. “One of the best British films of all time… The absolute in spy classics.” Sunday February 24th 2019 Roman Holiday (1953) A bored and sheltered princess (Audrey Hepburn) escapes her guardians and falls in love with an American newsman in Rome (Gregory Peck). Directed by William Wyler. “This sublime and charming fable… A film to treasure.” Sunday January 27th 2019 Chinatown (1974) A private detective (Jack Nicholson) hired to expose an adulterer finds himself caught up in a web of deceit, corruption, and murder.
