The 1916 Rising: In the past

for the 100 year anniversary of the

historical event. Each class was

assigned a signatory of the procla-

about. On the 17th November a

group of children from each class

stood up in front of the assembly

and shared their knowledge with

them. That day the youngest and

Tree Day in Glendalough.

This was a fun educational day to ex-

whacky races. All 3 classes had an

amazing day.

Our visit to the Mosque: When we first arrived at the Dublin Mosque, we

were told to remove our shoes. There was a front door and a side door. We en-

tered through the front door. Inside there was very soft carpet which was very

plain, but the simplicity made it seem very peaceful. The very nice tour guide

kindly showed us around and talked to us about his beliefs as a Muslim. He

then showed us around the mosque and how they pray. Overall, I thought the

experience was excellent and I really enjoyed it. Eva Sterritt,Kelly’s 5th Class.

the story of Buddha, learning

dedicated his life to teaching oth-

ers. We also joined in a breathing

meditation. It was a great day.
