This weekend the Second Collection is for the Building Expansion Fund.
The Catholic Miscellany The date for submitting our parish subscription list for the diocese newspaper is past due. Only three responses were received to continue receiving the paper. Please respond by Wednesday of this week if you wish to start, continue, or stop receiving the Miscellany newspaper. The parish pays for subscriptions. Those who wish to donate the yearly rate of $17.50 may place a payment in the donation basket marked MISCELLANY. Mary Lou Carter 803-460-6540.
Camp Happy Days June 30 – July 6 Camp Happy Days is held annually the first week in July and preparation is under way. Donations of hats, T-shirts, sunscreen, toothpaste and other toiletries are sought. Cash donations are especially needed as the camp is funded solely from donations. Camp Happy Days gives children with cancer and their siblings a chance to leave worries of hospitals and painful treatments far behind as they plunge into six days of more head-spinning, heart-pounding fun than a child could ever imagine. Mary's Hand Maids will not meet again until the 3rd Wednesday in September.
Congratulations to Caleb Elms who graduated from the Air Force Academy and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant.
Altar Flowers Now that summer is here, many of you have lovely flowers in your garden. Please consider sharing some with the church. They can be placed on the altar in honor of or in memory of a friend or relative and that intention will be listed on page 3 in the bulletin. Marie Land coordinates our flower ministry and you can call her at 435-2314 to schedule your week-end or to get further information.

SOME FACTS ABOUT OUR NEW PASTOR
Fr. Antony is a diocesan priest from South India. He attended St. Paul’s Seminary in Trichy, TamilNadu and was ordained in 1994. He came to South Carolina in October, 2005 and was incardinated to the Diocese of Charleston in 2012. In 2017 he became a United States citizen.Msgr. Lawrence McInerny, Fr. Antony's first pastor in Charleston had this to say about Fr. Antony:“I am very impressed with his kindness and love for the people,” he said. “The people have really responded to him well.”
