Company History

Quality Assured Contracting Pty. Ltd. ( QAContracting ) was established in Mandurah in

1995 by David Cameron, primarily to provide contract services to the Water Corporation in

the Mandurah - Murray, South West and Greater Southern regions of Western Australia. Due

to health reasons, David retired from QAContracting in April 2013 and the company was

taken over by Wayne Elliott and Roy Nella who continued to provide the multi discipline

services which QAContracting is known for whilst actively and continuously progressing

changes to the companies business and works management processes to bring the operation

into line with current industry standards. Of singular significance was the adoption and

certification to the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance standard which was completed in February

2014.

Roy Nella retired from the business in July 2016 leaving Wayne Elliott as the sole director

whose current focus is on driving the company to improve its professionalism in its

engineering and contracting services.

Key Personnel

Wayne Elliott is a professional Mechanical Engineer who

also holds an additional degree in Commerce ( Finance ) and

a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter. He has

extensive experience across a broad range of fields including

asset management and maintenance, engineering design and

drafting, contract services, project engineering and project

management. Wayne is a Director and the General Manager

of QAContracting whilst also providing project and

engineering management support to QAContracting's

operations. A member of the Institute of Engineers

Australia ( IEAust. ), Wayne is equally at home applying

engineer theory to design a piece of equipment or operating a

skid steer loader assisting the operations team to deliver their

works to budget and schedule.

Frank Wheel is a qualified Mechanical Engineer who has

attained the title of Chartered Professional Engineer (

CPEng. ) as recognized by the Institute of Engineers

Australia ( IEAust. ). Frank has many years experience in the

field of Mechanical Engineering with a particular emphasis

on project management and concrete structures. Frank is

QAContracting's Office Manager, overseeing all aspects of

the company's administration including company processes

and procedures. In addition to his Office Managers role,

Frank is also the primary lead for QAContracting's quality

assurance system and ISO 9001 accreditation.

Matthew Bee is a graduate Mechanical Engineer with a

Master’s Degrees from the University of Western

Australia. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers

Australia (IEAust) and has experience in several fields

from Mining Operations and Alumina Refining to

domestic construction work. Matthew has a thorough

understanding of mechanical engineering principles and

good administrative practices, along with significant

hands-on labouring experience.

QAContracting's workshop is located in the business district of Pinjarra and comprises over

400 square meters of floor space which has been specifically tooled and arranged to service a

wide variety of works from machinery overhauls and repairs to fabrication and machining.

Site Works

QAContracting is ready to mobilise with minimal notice to service any site work

requirements including breakdowns, scheduled maintenance or brownfield and greenfield

construction works of all sizes. The company has a number of service vehicles and heavy

machinery available which can be deployed along with our mobile workshop to cater to any

task, from garden maintenance to concreting and steelwork erection to earthmoving. Our

mobile workshop is equipped with the tools necessary to progress any task including rope

access equipment for working at heights and rescue equipment for works requiring confined

space entry. Where additional labour, specialist services and or equipment is required,

QAContracting has developed relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers to ensure

any such requirements can be provided as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
