Honorary Chair Stephen S. Trundle resides in the City of Falls Church with his wife, Kim, and their three children, Claire, Winfield, and Wyatt. They all attend the Falls Church City Public Schools.

Steve serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of Alarm.com Incorporated where he was also a Founder. Alarm.com is used to remotely monitor and control over a half-million properties in the U.S. and Canada, and it operates the BeClose.com business that allows adult children or caregivers to monitor the well-being of an older loved one. Prior to his current role at Alarm.com, he was Chief Technology Officer at Microstrategy. Earlier, Steve worked at Bath Iron Works on the Aegis Destroyer program. Mr. Trundle received an A.B. in Engineering Science and an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College where he was also a four year letter winner on the basketball team.

Steve is named an inventor or co-inventor in over 20 awarded or pending U.S. patents. He enjoys chasing his kids around, tree farming, fishing, hunting, water-skiing, and windsurfing.

The Trundles have been major donors to the Falls Church Education Foundation since 2006 and have provided support for special projects such as amphitheatre seating at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, materials for the Primary Years Program (PYP), and biodegradable lunch trays, as well as support for FCEF operations.

Thank You to Our StudentsTonight, we are showcasing the amazing talents and skills of our students throughout the evening. Please join us in recognizing their accomplishments.

Celebrating Our Scholars

Right after dinner, we hope that you will enjoy seeing some of this evening’s guests take on our State Champion Scholastic Bowl Team. Joining us from the team tonight are Asher Morse (captain), Jakob Hand, Anuraag Sensharma, Crawford Taylor, and Ross Wilson.

The FCEF thanks these young artists and their teachers for sharing their talents with us this evening.

Celebrating Our Musicians

We hope you enjoyed the flute and clarinet ensembles during registration. The musicians performing this evening are: Chas Bowling, Nathan Frost, Anuraag Sensharma, and

Hannah Shenouda on clarinet; and Lia Cattaneo, Gemma Seidita, Jade Taylor, and Julia Western on flute.

Celebrating Our Tweens

Enjoy the diverse and entertaining skills of our MEH tweens by watching the talent video that they’ve produced. You can find it near the bar at the back of the ballroom.

Celebrating Our Artists

The centerpieces on the dinner tables have been created by our student artists at TJ and MEH and generously loaned to us for this Gala. Third graders created the Ancient

Greek-style vases, fourth graders crafted the clay pots similar to those used in Colonial Virginia, and sixth and seventh graders designed the critters and ceramic buildings.

Celebrating Our Vocalist

Senior Anne Briggs heads to the College of Wooster this fall to earn her bachelors of music with a performance major in opera. You may recognize her as Cosette from Les Miserables. Tonight she is performing “O Mio

Babbino Caro” by Puccini from the opera Gianni Schicchi.
