Traffic Safety – Attentive Guardian1Donation of crossing guard uniforms for elementary schools nationwideSince 2011, the company has been donating equipment for the traffic guide volunteers in elementary schools in all counties and cities across Taiwan, including police-grade reflective vests and command flags. Accumulated to 2019, 85,000 sets have been donated. We secure the safety of children with practical actions.

2Traffic Safety TheatreSince 2006, the company has cooperated with the well-known children's troupe and advocated “Traffic Safety Theatre” in elementary schools across Taiwan. Develop and empower outstanding young talents1A legacy of professional automotive knowledgeEngaging in the automotive industry for over 70 years, Hotai Motor has accumulated rich professional automotive knowledge. To encourage technical and vocational education and training (TVET), we have scholarships and donated vehicles or automotive parts for young students to catch up with the latest automotive models, systems, and key parts and components and learn from doing, in order to cultivate professional talents through knowledge-action integration. In addition, we began to offer The Toyota Way program at colleges and universities in 2019 for students to acquire the Toyota management principles within a short time by equipping them with corporate thinking and communication abilities to bridge the education-to-employment gap.

2Cultivation of talent diversityEvery year we organize a range of academic exchange activities to stimulate creativity and independent thinking in young students and develop their competence and literacy in different aspects through comprehensive activities, in order to develop outstanding talents for Taiwan. Love and Hope1National Blood Donation Month and the donation of bloodmobilesIn 1977, the first large-scale bloodmobile (Renyi) in Taiwan was donated by Hotai founder, Huang Lieh-ho, with other enterprises. Since 2011, Hotai has regularly donated bloodmobiles to each blood donation center every year. By 2019, a total of 11 bloodmobiles (including Renyi) have been donated, these bloodmobiles served over 600,000 blood donors and raised nearly one million bags of blood. Also, Hotai accounts for about 14% of all bloodmobiles in our country, making Hotai Motor ranks as the company that donate most bloodmobiles in Taiwan.Since 2012, Hotai has held the "National blood donation month" in every year,, and has organized blood donation activities in designated TOYOTA locations and regional blood donation centers, inviting more than 60,000 people including all employees, subsidiary companies and six national blood donation centers. So far, the accumulated blood collection is over 18 million c.c. Through the launch of this activity, we expect to call on the public for blood donation and lives saving.In addition, since 2019, in order to improve blood donation rate among young generation, Hotai make creative short films to attract young people's attention. Also be the first company to work with blood foundation and schools, adopting multiple campus blood donation sessions, brining bloodmobiles into campus, using interactive activities, all to raise blood donation rate.

2Caring for mentally challenged kidsSince 2015, in order to show their long-term and stable support to kids with intellectual development disorders, Hotai has purchased all kinds of baked goods for its 122 TOYOTA service centers in Taiwan. Through 2018, the accumulated purchase amount has exceeded NTD35.29 million.

Wholehearted commitmentto environmental care1Toyota – One Tree for Every ToyotaIn order to guard the beauty of Taiwan, we have cooperated with public institutions and private professional teams to organize large-scale tree planting activities since April 2017. Planting a tree for every TOYOTA new car owner along the coast of Taiwan, we hope to lead more people to work with us for a better future of the earth. There were nearly 300,000 trees planted up through 2019.

2Toyota – Toy SharingSince 2016, in cooperation with the "Taiwan toy library association", 122 service centers across Taiwan have been extended as the toy recycling centers calling on the public to recycle toys. After receiving the pre-owned toys, the association will clean and give them new missions. Through the volunteers from colleges and universities recruited during summer and winter holidays, those toys are spread with love to more children living in the tribes in rural areas. By end of 2019, over 120,000 people participated and recycled more than 150 tons of pre-owned toys, equivalent to the carbon footprint of 38,625 trees a year.

3Toyota – Environment MonthSince its establishment in 2005, it has entered its 13th year. The initial activities included mountain and beach cleanup, second-hand goods auctions, and environmental protection visits. In 2009, eight dealers across Taiwan participated altogether. In 2013, the community greenery project was promoted to improve the living quality of community residents. In 2018, we expanded our cooperation with NGOs and public institutions starting a 3-year environmental greening project. By 2019, accumulated 88 greening events and 117 environmental care sessions have been held. 34,000 volunteers participated in planting 20,000 trees which covered 202,000 square meters in total.
