Stars
Stars are massive, luminous balls of plasma held together by gravity.

Protostar – What exists before a star is born
T Tauri Star – Stage in a star’s formation
Main Sequence Star – The majority of the stars in our
galaxy
Red Giant Star – Forms after a star consumes its stock of
hydrogen in its core
White Dwarf Star – When a star completely runs out of
hydrogen fule
Red Dwarf Star – Most common kind of star, has a cool
temperature
Neutron Star – Exotic star made completely up of neutrons

Stars
Did you know?
Stars are always in the sky. We just
can’t see them during
the day because the
sun is so bright!

A constellation is a group of stars that appear to form a pattern in
the sky.Ursa Minor

Ursa Major
The Ursa Major is commonly called the Big
Dipper. Its shape
resembles a bear.

Orion
Orion is known as The Hunter. It is the most recognizable
constellation in the sky.

Solar System
Formed about 4.6 billion years ago, our solar system
consists of the sun and all celestial objects that are bound to it by
gravity.
