A lot of our temptation is an attempt to fulfill natural needs and desires in ways unauthorized by Scripture.

The way to victory and authority over Satan is to humble ourselves before God. When we do this then we can successfully resist Satan because he will not have any rights to us (James 4:6-10; 1 Pet. 5:5-9).
