Conterm Inc., which owns andoperates two modern, computer-controlled inland container depots inMontreal and Toronto, has opened anew 12-acre terminal in Houston.

The Houston facility, situated at1222 McCarty Drive, is just a milefrom the nearest marine terminal in theUnited States’ third busiest port.

"Conterm (Texas) Inc. now offerscontainer owners who operate in theGulf the use of our multi-purposedepot, providing the same standard ofservice our Canadian customers havecome to expect. The M/V KAPITAN SMIRNOV, a vessel ofBaltic Shipping Company flying the Russianflag, made her first call to the Port of Houstonrecently.
