Our advantage.One of the biggest advantages we have is we own our own motorcoaches. We recognize that transportation is an important component of our sightseeing vacations and your personal space is precious... so we made sure you have more of it.A standard coach accommodates 56 passengers; however, we have removed seating and reconfigured our coaches to allow for greater legroom. Our coaches also offer a washroom onboard, reclining seats, complimentary Wi-Fi, electrical outlets at each seat and individual onboard entertainment systems.All you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the journey!

Book early and save.Enjoy big savings if you book your vacation before the early booking dates noted on each tour. This offer can be combined with denuros redemption and the Frequent Travellers promotion (see below).

We reward loyalty.When you travel with DeNureTours you earn and accumulate dEnurO traVEl rEWardS with every trip you take. The number of denuros you earn depends on the value of your trip. For example, on a $2,000 trip, you would earn 100 denuros. Denuros are offered on the tour price as well as any flights that you purchase from us.There is no expiry date on your denuros, and each denuro is worth $1. If you accumulate 500 denuros, you have $500 in your account. If you have accumulated enough denuros to cover the entire cost of a trip, you can use denuros as payment for a FREE trip. You can also redeem your denuros to reduce the cost of your vacation by 5%, up to a maximum of $100 per person.

Frequent travellers.Book two or more trips in one calendar year (each a minimum of 7 days in duration) and save $50 per person for each additional trip. This can be combined with ‘Book Early and Save’ and Denuro Travel Rewards redemption. A separate deposit is required for each reservation. This does not apply to free trips acquired with denuros.

Solo travellers.On touring or cruising vacations, our solo travellers can sign up for our Twin Share Program. Call early to have your name listed and increase your chances of finding a suitable match. This program is not available for Sunshine Vacations to Florida or South Carolina.

It ranges from “leisurely” to “On-the-go”.The pace of a tour varies by itinerary, as each destination, its sightseeing and the activities are unique. Day-by-day itineraries an be found on our website. Generally, the more activities included, distance travelled in a day, or number of hotel changes, will increase the pace of a tour.Tours with the highest “On-the-go” ratings require a level of activity that is not suitable for those who use either walkers or wheelchairs. taste of Europe14 DaysSeptember 5, 2019We begin our journey through the heart of Europe with a guided tour of Prague. The Golden City has spires, bridges, a 600-year-old Astronomical clockandHradčany,thelargestcastlecomplexintheworld.Departing the Czech Republic, we travel across Bohemia and northern Bavaria to the medieval walled city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. In friendly munich, we’ll take in rich Bavarian heritage, and world-class sights. Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, perched high in the Alps, provides breathtaking views on the way to beautiful Salzburg, mozart’s birthplace.Back to Germany to see Sleeping Beauty’s Neuschwanstein Palace, the world’s most celebrated fairytale castle. Through dark forests to Oberammergau, a village of colourful alpine houses and wood carver’s shops, for a “magical” dinner. Then we head over gorgeous mountain passes to Switzerland, with time to explore lovely lucerne’s Altstadt (Old Town) and colourful waterfront promenades. A hiking excursion, cogwheel train ride, and gondola ride put us in the heart of the Swiss Alps.We’ll visit Rhinefalls, the largest waterfall in Europe, as we head back to Germany, entering the dense woods of the Black Forest where Hansel and Gretel nearly met their demise. On our last day, we’ll cruise the mighty Rhine River, passing by castle ruins and vineyards before our return flight home from Frankfurt.


Romantic rhinEFrom where it begins in the Swiss Alps to where it ends at the North Sea, the Rhine River holds more famous cities on its idyllic banks than any other in the world. It cuts through the Rhenish slate mountains, covered in dense forests, and draped in near-vertical vineyards that grow award-winning grapes (Rhinegau Reislings). It is a mythical land. The Romans considered it the edge of civilization, where pagans lived in the wilds beyond and where loreley, the siren of the rocks, brought men to their doom! The dramatic 65km stretch of the middle Rhine Valley around Rüdesheimisanhistorictransportroutebetweenthesouthernand northern halves of the continent. Feudal lords once blocked the river with iron chains, extorting tolls from merchant ships seeking passage. For 1,000 years, 40 hilltop castles were built high above villages born out of trade. The wars of the 1600s destroyed some of them, leaving their picturesque ruins for us to admire. We’ll cruise the romantic Rhine, past its historical timber settlements and mighty Gothic fortresses, and see the natural beauty that influenced artists for centuries along the Rhine’s ancient storybook shore.

If you live outside of the routing area indicated, you can take advantage of our Connections Program to meet the coach.

What arE mY OPtiOnS?Depending on where you reside, we offer the following:

1) SuBSidizEd dOOr-tO-dOOr taxi(for guests within our taxi service range)If you reside within our door-to-door taxi service range, we will arrange a subsidized taxi service from your home to the nearest pickup point, or to Toronto Pearson International Airport.

2) accOmmOdatiOn(for guests outside of our taxi service range)For the convenience of out-of-province guests, and guests from communities outside the door-to-door taxi service range, a complimentary night of accommodation can be arranged at our partner hotels in various locations. If you require extra nights, additional charges will apply.Parking while you’re away is subject to availability and may have an additional charge.For guests travelling on a twin (double) fare, the same service is offered to each travel partner whether it’s a taxi fare from one address or sharing a hotel room. For travel partners with different addresses, extra charges will apply when the taxi option is chosen.

3) crEditFor guests who wish to make their own arrangements, a transportation credit is given when neither taxi or accommodation options are suitable.

PaYmEntOnce you have made a booking, payment is requested in advance of travel. DeNureTours has the right to cancel your reservation if payments are not received, and can withhold any payments already made. Payment is accepted by cash, cheque, VISA, masterCard or American Express. A deposit holds your reservation and is requested within 10 days of booking. See the chart below for deposit, final payment requirements and cancellation charges.After putting down a deposit to reserve your holiday, you can pay off your balance in installments of your choosing, so long as the balance is paid in full by the required date prior to departure (see chart below).

cancEllatiOn chargESThere is a minimum $50 per person cancellation charge (see chart below). If DeNureTours cancels a departure, all money is refunded if no suitable alternative is chosen.Cancellation charges will apply if you need to cancel your trip. The amount of the charge is dependent upon the date you notify us of your cancellation in relation to your departure date. If you must cancel, please notify DeNureTours immediately to minimize the cancellation penalties as shown in the chart below.By purchasing Cancellation Insurance you can avoid penalties in the event that a medical emergency causes you to cancel. If you must leave your tour early, DeNureTours does not refund the value of the unused portion of your trip.Travel Agent fees and their cancellation charges may also apply. DeNureTours is not responsible for other travel arrangements that your party has made outside the DeNure vacation, which are affected by cancellation.

OccuPancYPrices are listed in either double or single occupancy. In the event that a person booked as a double changes their occupancy to a single, additional charges will apply in an amount that reflects the single price listed. This policy will apply at any time throughout the holiday, both before or after departure.

changES tO YOur rESErVatiOnAfter your deposit has been received, any change to your reservation incurs a $50 service fee per person. This is inadditiontoanychange/cancellationfeesthatmaybeimposed by other parties such as airlines and cruise lines.

traVEl inSurancEGuests should not travel outside of the province without adequate medical and cancellation insurance. DeNureTours has a preferred supplier for medical and cancellation insurance.Travel Guard provides quality travel insurance options and have a global network of travel and emergency assistance services to help when you are most in need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DeNureTours offers a range of choices including a complete package, medical only, cancellation only, insurance for individual tours, or even medical insurance as an annual plan.The cost of medical insurance varies depending on your age and medical condition. The cost of cancellation insurance varies depending on the value of the vacation purchased. Insurance premiums are non-refundable.

PricESAll prices are in Canadian dollars, are per person and are based on costs, tariffs, prices, airfares, taxes, levies, exchange rates, and other considerations calculated at the time of brochure production, April 1, 2018. All are subject to change. No surcharges regarding cost or currency fluctuations will be made to the land only price once your deposit is received. However, airport taxes, fuel surcharges and taxes, charges and levies imposed by a government or agency may be passed on at any time even after the deposit is received and until your vacation is paid for in full. SightSEEing VacatiOnSPrice includes luxury air-conditioned motorcoach transportation with washroom and Wi-Fi access (where available), well-situated overnight accommodation, luggage handling (except at airports), services of a tour director and local guides, as well as all sightseeing and meals (as specified), airport transfers (conditions apply) and service charges as specified in your itinerary. HST is only applicable on vacations that overnight in Canada.

cruiSE VacatiOnSPrice includes ship accommodation, luggage handling (except at airports), services of a DeNureTours Tour Director or host, shipboard gratuities, meals, dining reservations, and service charges as specified in your itinerary. Vacations that involve a cruise may be subject to a fuel surcharge imposed by the cruise line, and these charges are not included in the vacation price.

Our rESPOnSiBilitYIt is our intention to operate all tours as described. Operational situations occasionally force changes and we reserve the right to make adjustments where necessary. We have made arrangements with independent parties beyond our direct control to provide you with the travel services offered. We cannot be responsible for the acts or omissions of these parties, or anyone other than DeNureTours employees. DeNureTours reserves the right to make changes in the published itinerary whenever conditions warrant, or if deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour.

most vacations require a minimum number of guests to operate. Occasionally, tour departures will be cancelled if the minimum numbers are not achieved. In this case, booked guests will be offered alternate arrangements or a full refund.

When travelling, you may find different living standards, practices and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation.

DeNureTours will not be liable for any loss or damage, injury or death that occurs as a result of government actions, terrorism, acts of God, late arrivals, missed connections and other factors beyond our direct control. In the event a departure must be cancelled or rescheduled, DeNureTours shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies paid by the guest to DeNureTours. DeNureTours does not accept liability for any carrier’s cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable airline or other ticket.

guESt’S rESPOnSiBilitYDeNureTours reserves the right to terminate the vacation (or remaining part thereof) of any guest whose inappropriate actions or conduct adversely affects others, including other guests, employees of DeNureTours, and employees of partner establishments. A DeNureTours staff member will make that determination, and if the vacation is terminated, there will be no refund for any unused portion, and all costs of returning to the point of embarkation will be borne by the guest.

DeNureTours reserves the right to deny your reservation. You must comply with the laws, customs, and drug regulations of countries visited at all times.

accESSiBilitYPlease advise DeNureTours if you plan on travelling with a walker, wheelchair or scooter. With advance notice, DeNureTours motorcoaches can be modified to carry one scooter, and a limited number of wheelchairs and walkers. All are accommodated on a first-come first-served basis. For their own protection, DeNureTours staff is not permitted to provide assistance in lifting scooters or guests. If you require such assistance, we will need to discontinue your trip.

Special steps must be taken to prepare the coach, staff and fellow travellers if you are travelling with oxygen, or require the assistance of a service animal. Therefore, it is important that DeNureTours be notified of these items at the time of booking. If you require assistance of a personal nature that cannot be provided by your travelling companion, we are unable to accept your reservation.

In accordance with the requirements of the “Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act,” DeNureTours maintains an Accessible Customer Service Plan. Details of this Plan can be found on our website (denuretours.com) under the “Accessibility” heading, or they are available upon request by contacting our office.

idEntiFicatiOnPassports are required for all travel outside of Canada. For cruises and overseas tours, your passport must be valid for 6 months after your vacation return date and you may require visas. Different countries require different citizenship documentation and although we will advise you of the requirements, it is your responsibility to obtain the proper documentation. Travelling within Canada requires government issued photo identification.

DeNureTours will not be responsible for passengers denied access to any country, or for re-entry into Canada. Please keep your identification with you at all times. Entry into another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. DeNureTours will not be responsible for obtaining required travel documentation foranyguest,orfordelays,damages,and/orlossesincludingmissedportions of your vacation related to immigration issues.

traVElling BY mOtOrcOachThe coach makes plenty of stops for you to stretch your legs, grab a bite to eat and use the washroom. Guests are invited to eat packaged snacks on board, providing they are not dairy products or chocolate coated, and any drinks must be in containers with screw-on lids. All coaches are washroom equipped and regular comfort stops are made.

On all touring vacations, seating is subject to availability and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Single travellers are seated with other single travellers. Although we try to avoid changes, seat numbers could change before departure. DeNureTours employs a daily seat rotation system that is designed to offer each guest different viewing positions from the motorcoach. We do not set aside a special seat for those who do not wish to take part in the rotation.

Flight arrangEmEntSOntouringvacationsthatbeginand/orendwithaflight,transfersto your first hotel from the airport, and from your last hotel to the airport are complimentary for guests who purchase their airfare through DeNureTours. If guests make their own flight arrangements, DeNureTours can assist with transfer details, but there may be an additional cost. The Connections Program is not included unless flights are booked through DeNureTours.

When booking a vacation that includes flights, your reservation will require your full legal name as it is shown on government-issued identification. For flights outside of Canada, we require your passport number, date it was issued, where it was issued, and its expiry date. Once a flight is booked, it is non-refundable and any changes to name or details may not be possible or may be subject to fees imposed by the airline.

most airlines charge for pre-assigned seats. Where pre-assigned seats are not offered, guests must contact the airline directly to arrange their seat assignment. Seating is solely under the airline’s control, as are itinerary changes due to flight delays and scheduled changes. Flight delays, flight cancellations and schedule changes are the responsibility of the airline. DeNureTours will not be responsible or liable for such delays or rescheduling, or any additional charges that may be involved. Special meal requests, where available on airlines, can be requested at time of booking. DeNureTours cannot guarantee the request will be granted.

Flight schedule changes by the airlines are common, and are beyond our control. We will notify you of changes as we become aware of them. On some fly-in tours, you may be travelling unescorted in order for our Tour Director to prepare for your arrival and meet you at the arrival airport.

luggagEOn all vacations, one carry-on bag is permitted. Overhead bins on the coach are much smaller than on aircrafts, therefore your carry-ondimensionsshouldnotexceed16”x12”x8”(40x30x20cm).On sightseeing vacations, a single piece of luggage is allowed with dimensionsnotexceeding30”x18”x10”(76x46x25cm)andweightnotexceeding50lbs(23kg).Thetourpriceincludesluggagehandlingatall hotels.

If your vacation involves a flight, you will be subject to the luggage size and weight restrictions imposed by the air carrier. With your travel

documents, DeNureTours will advise you of the luggage restrictions and cost per checked bag. Airline baggage fees may apply and are not included in the tour price.

Although DeNureTours staff is careful with your luggage, please ensure that your luggage is in a condition sufficient to withstand the normal loading, unloading and delivery process. DeNureTours does not accept liability for damage to luggage such as: broken wheels or feet, lost pull straps, damage to retractable luggage handles, or damage resulting from over packed luggage.

accOmmOdatiOnThe hotel names and cruise ships we have listed are published in good faith. Occasionally, accommodation substitutions will be required and in such a case, DeNureTours will provide a substitute of a similar or better standard than those named. On touring vacations, hotels may be listed as “TBA.” Please advise DeNureTours of any special requests regarding accommodation at time of booking.

itinErarY VariatiOnSDeNureTours strives to improve vacation itineraries, services and features. If improvements can be made, or if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to make changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries. We make every effort to provide a comparable alternative, and no liability shall be inferred by these efforts. On vacations that include cruises, the ship or its itinerary may be changed for operational reasons by the cruise line.

gratuitiESA suggested gratuity of $4 per person per day for Tour Directors and Drivers, and $2 per person per guide for a local city guide (or equivalent in local currency) is simply a guideline. When meals are included in the tour price, the gratuity is also included. For meals and beverages that are not included in the vacation price, your Tour Director will advise you on the recommended tipping.

data PrOtEctiOnTo process your reservation, DeNureTours will need personal information including your name, address, telephone number, email address, passport number, date of birth, citizenship, and information you have disclosed regarding health, medical, dietary, mobility, and other special requirements. This personal information may be passed on to other suppliers of your travel arrangements in addition to public authorities (such as customs and immigrations), and security organizations as required by law. The Susan DeNure Sports Fund was launched by Ray DeNure in 2011, to honour Susan’s memory. Susan had a passion for cycling, and she wanted to inspire local childrentostayactive.In2011over350children had the opportunity to participate in cycling programs and by 2017 over 7,000 children were participating in more programs such as basketball, ball hockey and soccer!last year we expanded on Susan’s dream and introduced the Susan DeNure Fund encompassing more than sports.
