OVERVIEW
In the United States, acute and chronic wounds affect around 6.5 million patients. The need for treatment of wounds is growing rapidly due to an aging population and a sharp rise in the incidence of diabetes and obesity. This symposium will provide current treatment modalities and evidence-based solutions for general wound care, vascular care, diabetic foot care including podiatry, foot and ankle care and advanced therapies and reconstruction.
AUDIENCE
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, residents, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals who are involved in the care of patients with acute and chronic wounds.
