Grading of Practice

• This may be judged as ‘Excellent’ Very Good’ Good’, ‘Satisfactory/Pass’ or ‘Unsatisfactory/ Refer’

• In year 2 and 3 of the programme this judgement will be converted to a percentage grade by the module leader

• Criteria are provided in the PLD to support the mentor.• If a student does not meet their competencies in one

placement then they will progress to their next placement and have one reassessment opportunity only. Mentors will be informed if a student requires reassessment.
