DESCRIPTION
Data security is of utmost importance, yet people mostly disregard security in database management systems (DBMS). This talk aims to shed some light on security features in some DBMS and the importance of using them. There is talk of authentication, authorization, encryption, auditing and network technologies of the following DBMS: Oracle, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, SAP HANA, SQL Server, MySQL, Drizzle, HyperSQL, Advantage Database Server, ScimoreDB, Raima Database Manager.
