One of our teachers Mrs Noble has now decided to take the idea of designing the Oxfam window to other charity shops. This idea of designing more charity shop windows got mixed opinions. Some students have said ‘I like the idea as it means that more the idea as it means that more people will know about the fash-ion shows which Bullers fashion students hold’. Whereas other students have said ‘I think that we should just keep it to the Oxfam window in Bromley because it’s really local and more people who are closer to school can attend the fashion shows’.

After the talk we all went down to the shop and picked out outfits which we thought would go with the theme of the fashion shoof the fashion show. We each had a mannequin which each small group could dress including shoes and ac-cessories. We put together four out-fits. Two for woman, one for men, and one for children so our age shoppers vary. For the two women’s we put together two dresses with heels and a small handbag with one including a necklace. The men’s outfit was a grey suit with smart shoes and we included a tie. The children’s outfit was a small black polka dot dress with a red ribbon attached as a belt, with a red ribbon attached as a belt, and small dolly shoes. After we had designed the outfits we then had to design the display so we had hung up strips of paper with spray can designs on it saying

‘Bullers Wood School’ and animal prints which we had done before in previous lessons. Next we hung up the photos which were taken on the night of the fashion show. We hung the photos up using blue tack and string and placed them next to the strips of paper which were already hanging up.were already hanging up.The display had been done and we then had to move the outfits which we had de-signed on the mannequins and move them into the display. We placed the mannequins evenly across the display and we all felt that the display was still really plain so we all went back into the shop to pick up props in which we could shop to pick up props in which we could place. The props included records, CD’s, DVD’s and more things which related to the theme. To help stand up the props we brought in boxes and placed them either in front of the window and some put in between the outfits. After we had placed the props all we had to do was to tidy up all the mess in the window and take a photo outside the front with everyone in it.
