A Genius worth a mistake!In a fury of excitement to start my talent search under the web development requisition, I reached out to a candidate who I sourced. The kid was an absolute standout, however at the conclusion of the interview he revealed that he was a high school student. This fact had been unclear until the moment of truth. I was heavily disappointed because this vague fact technically disqualified him from consideration. I was transparent and shared with him our typical policy but I requested he bare with me while I look into special circumstances. While I negotiated with University recruiting leads, my prospective candidate reached out to C.E.O Jeff Weiner. The sparked my cause. AS a result of this situation campus recruiting is starting a separate high school internship program. This was a genius worth a mistake and he is thriving because of it!
