love to experience God’s grace!

We are a warm and friendly

family who exist to exalt Jesus

Christ, evangelize the lost, and

interesting and enriching things

to do and offer as a church. But

our priorities are to worship the

Lord Jesus Christ, to fellowship

with other believers, to grow to

be more like Jesus, to do

ministry, and to share the Good

News with those around us. I

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH

FIRST you will need to come forward during the invitation to express your desire to become a member. We accept members in three ways: 1) Profession of faith: By repenting of your sins and receiving Jesus Christ by faith. After you have made a public profession of faith, you will need to be baptized. 2) By statement of faith: If you have made a public profession of faith at another church, we will be glad to receive you. However if you have never been baptized by immersion or if you were baptized in a church which holds a different view of salvation, baptism or eternal security than Grace, you will need to be baptized again. 3) By letter: If you are currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, we will contact that church to notify them of your decision to join Grace. SECOND, You will be required to attend our “New Members” class. You may present yourself for membership before or after taking this class.

Greeter Ministry - We are looking for enthusiastic people to serve as door greeters at each of our Worship Center entrances before our services. That would be at least six people each service. You will open the door, offer a smile and a handshake and give any direction as needed. Everyone loves a friendly greeting! If Walmart can do it so can we! Use the tear off to signup or contact Michael. Mary Poppins Broadway Musical - Presented by the THS Theater Department April 28 and 29 at 7:00 p.m. and April 30 at 2:00 p.m. $15 adults and $12 students. The performances are at the THS auditorium.

Correction to Easter Lily insert— In last weeks bulletin a name was left off for a Easter Lily given by Anna Shelley in memory of her grandmother, Bodor Vendelne’.

Life Action Ministries— We gave $7,336.27 in love offering to Life Action Ministries! Thank you for your sacrificial giving!

Disaster Relief Fund— Our Children’s Outreach Center has been approved as an emergency shelter to be used by the Red Cross in the event we have an emergency in our community requiring such. In order to better facilitate this, we have acquired a used standby electric power generator. It will allow us to maintain electric power for the 1st floor lighting, kitchen, bathrooms, heating, ventilation and some cooling when the electric is down. This would allow us to provide uninterrupted shelter, food and bathing facilities even when TUB may be down for extended periods. The purchase of the generator depleted the available funds in the designated account, however we still need to install it. The installation is expected to cost in the $6,000-$7,000 range. If you would like to see this completed ASAP, please place your donations in and envelope marked “Generator” or if doing a check please note Generator on in memo section of your check.
