    Book Speed Dating:

During the month of March all students participated in Book Speed Dating in the Hub! Tables were set up with books from different genres (nonfiction, graphic novels, historical fiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, and dystopian). Students rotated between the tables and had 5 minutes to “date” a book from the genre. This time with the book allowed students to find out what the book was about and to read the first few pages to see if it was of interest to them. Students kept track of their dates with a checklist in which they rated the book. At the end of the session students were able to check out their favorite “date”.
