Pupils from years 5 and 6 will be going ontheir adventure trip to Llangrannog camp
between 3rd and 5th of February.

Happy New Year
At the end of the term, we held christmasservices in the local houses of worship. There
were a variety of items including traditional carols,readings, sketch, Open the Book presentations,
reciting, and a staff choir. Thank you to all of thestaff for their efforts to prepare and present 6services across Ysgol Bro Idris. Thank you also toall the parents that came to support, and mostly,thank you to the children for their hard work at
the end of a busy term.

Phase 2 - Years 5—8Phase 2 Headteacher : Mr Steffan Rhys Nutting
The pupils that are members of the Urdd will be able tocompete on the stage at the Eisteddfod this term, to compete
in arts and crafts, dancing etc. Practice sessions will be held for years 3-6 after school at the
Dolgellau site. Year 7 and 8 pupils will practice during school time.
Make sure that your child is a member and has registered fortheir competitions as soon as possible.

We have been raising awareness of the risks anddangers of the digital world on a weekly basis with the
help of National Online Safety.Look out for the weekly bulletin on our Facebook page

Years 6 - 8 had the opportunity to watch an international football match betweenWales u21 and Bosnia U21 at the Racecourse, Wrexham. Wales won 1-0 and
everybody had a great time! Thank you to Mr Carl Williams for organizing and toeveryone that made it a fantastic trip.
