Saugatuck Trail
To reach the north end of the trail: From the junctions of Routes 57
and 53 in Weston, go north on Route 53 for 5.5 m
iles. Turn right onto Route 10

iles to Valley Forge Road. Turn right on Valley Forge Road and continue for 1.8 m

Reservoir, at the entrance of the Universal A

Centennial W
atershed State Forest was nam
ed to honor the 10
0th anniversary of the State Forest System
in Connecticut.
This State Forest is unique because it is the watershed of a public
drinking water supply. A
s such, all uses of the property are subject to regulation by the D
epartment of Public H
ealth.
The Saugatuck and Aspetuck Trails provide access to over 40
m
iles of scenic trails through Easton, Weston, Redding and
New
town. W
