Telephone (530)865-1107 Fax (530)865-1109 Submitted by Deanna Rogers, 4-H Program Representative May 10, 2011 Deanna Rogers 4-H Program Representative COUNTY 4-H FASHION REVUE & QUILT SHOW RESULTS There were 16 entries for the annual Glenn County 4-H Fashion Revue & Quilt Show held at the Federated Church in Orland, reports 4-H Program Representative Deanna Rogers. The Intermediate Quilting winner was Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Clarissa received a medallion. The Junior Quilting winner was Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Hannah also received a medallion. Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club was chosen Junior Princess from the Intermediate Division of the traditional category and received a beautiful tiara. Katherine Valle of Orland 4-H Club won in the Junior Division for the traditional category. There were additional categories available so that Glenn County 4-H would be in line with the State 4-H Fashion Revue. Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club received a medallion for the Wearable Art category in the Intermediate Division. Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club received a medallion in the Junior Wearable Art category. Katherine Valle of Orland 4-H Club received a medallion for the Recycled category in the Junior Division. Lupita Valle of Orland 4-H Club received a medallion for the Recycled category in the Intermediate Division. Gold medal winners in the traditional category by age division were: Intermediate Division - Lupita Valle of Orland 4-H Club. Junior Division - Mikaela Hanes of Orland 4-H Club, Elizabeth Blake of Orland 4-H Club and Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Gold medal winners in the quilting category were: Junior Division - Callie Tanson of Lake 4-H Club; Intermediate Division - Hannah Peeler of Orland 4-H Club. Silver medal winner for the $15 Challenge - Carrie Williams of Orland 4-H Club. Plaza 4-H Club Project Leader Diane Jones was the chairperson of the event, assisted by Katie McDaniel, Barbara Warner and Carol Palmer. COUNTY 4-H FASHION REVUE & QUILT SHOW RESULTS

There were 16 entries for the annual Glenn County 4-H Fashion Revue & Quilt Show held at the Federated

Church in Orland, reports 4-H Program Representative Deanna Rogers.

The Intermediate Quilting winner was Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Clarissa received a

medallion. The Junior Quilting winner was Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Hannah also received a medallion.

Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club was chosen Junior Princess from the Intermediate Division of the traditional

category and received a beautiful tiara. Katherine Valle of Orland 4-H Club won in the Junior Division for the

traditional category.

There were additional categories available so that Glenn County 4-H would be in line with the State 4-H

Fashion Revue. Clarissa Wetz of Lake 4-H Club received a medallion for the Wearable Art category in the

Intermediate Division. Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club received a medallion in the Junior Wearable Art category.

Katherine Valle of Orland 4-H Club received a medallion for the Recycled category in the Junior Division. Lupita

Valle of Orland 4-H Club received a medallion for the Recycled category in the Intermediate Division.

Gold medal winners in the traditional category by age division were: Intermediate Division - Lupita Valle

of Orland 4-H Club. Junior Division - Mikaela Hanes of Orland 4-H Club, Elizabeth Blake of Orland 4-H Club and

Hannah Wetz of Lake 4-H Club. Gold medal winners in the quilting category were: Junior Division - Callie Tanson

Buttermore, 4-H Assistant Jamie Marron, and 4-H member Alisyn Silveira decorated the stage helped with

presenting awards and reading commentaries. Judges for this event were Kathleen Kelly, Debbie LaGrande, Jan

Evans and Beth Camper. We wish to thank all the leaders and parents who helped at this event!
