    The Ideal Steam Trap Management Softwarewith a Wealth of FunctionsEstablishing records of the maintenance for any individual steam trap is important for both TPM andconformance to ISO Standards. Using TrapManager, you can create a log, update inspection recordsand receive survey data from TM5 for detailed analysis. TrapManageris also capable of being

    configured by the user to meet specific needs.

    Determining the Results

    TrapManagerwill process the data fromTM5 and then present the results in a

    number of ways that you can determineyourself. For example, you can tabulate data

    for specific conditions and calculate the

    failure rate.

    Locate Faulty Traps Quickly

    All traps whose operation is judged to be

    faulty are highlighted in the display, as well

    as being presented in a table that appears

    automatically when TrapManagerstarts up.

    Gathering data is the first step toward

    preventive maintenance.

    Trap records are automatically saved and

    will include the installation and inspection

    dates as well as inspection results so thattrap histories are available for future trend

    analysis.

    You can print the detailed information contained in

    trap logs and histories and the analysis results.

    You may also copy graphs depicting the analysis

    results and paste them into reports, plus export

    data easily into other software programs.

    You can display the amount of steam

    leakage and the resultant monetary losses

    for individual traps or for the entire factory.

    Professional Diagnosis in a Single Compact UnitThe TM5 is a precision automatic steam trap analyzer that uses ultrasound and surface temperaturemeasurements to analyze traps. The TM5 is easy to operate -- so a technician can quickly be trainedto use it. It is also light (only 1.9 Ib), so you won't get tired carrying it, even during long inspections.

    Automatic analysis in only 15 seconds

    The TM5 performs theanalysis automatically. All

    you need to do is hold the

    probe against the surface

    of the trap for 15 seconds.

    The TM5 is all you need at the site

    Input of data into the TM5is easy -- so other

    instruments and pads of

    paper for recording

    information are not

    required.

    Intrinsically Safe Model TM5-EX is also available

    CULUS: Class, Groups C and D, Temp. code T3C

    Allows quantitative analysis

    Measurement with the TM5yields quantitative results.For steam leakage measurement, the estimated

    amount of steam leakage can be calculated and

    displayed as one of 15 leakage levels.

    Eliminates variations due to human error

    With the TM5, measurements do not vary dependingon who performed the inspection. The tip of the probe

    is configured so that it always contacts the trap with

    the same pressure, hence the results are always the

    same.

    The TM5 uses data obtainedfrom testing over 2,900 individual

    steam trap models. The trap

    under test is compared to the

    stored data of that specific model

    and its performance is analyzed.

    HARDWARE

    A wealth of new functions

    A quick one-hour charge allows the TM5 to be used continuously for

    10 hours. The leather carrying case fastened to a waist belt prevents the

    instrument being dropped and damaged, even when stretching toinspect hard-to-reach traps. This also leaves your hands free forgreater safety and inspection efficiency.

    The speed of data transmission has been greatly increased to 19,200bps -- sixteen times that of the TM2 (the previous version).

    Expanded memory capacity increases work efficiency. The TM5 canhold up to 3,400 trap codes, up to 30 trap models per trap type,and up to 1,600 items of inspection data.

    The new Auto Power OFF function conserves battery power, whileanother new function prevents overcharging.

    The package includes the TM5 leather case and theTrapManagersoftware.
