Thank you for considering MP Taverna to host your personal or professional event. MP Taverna is the final culmination of Chef Michael Psilakis’ culinary development of
modern Greek Cuisine for the American palate.
Chef Michael has been lauded for both his traditional and reinterpreted Greek menus and is said to be responsible for putting Modern Greek cuisine on the culinary map.
He has accrued many of the food world’s highest honors including Food & Wine’s Best New Chef,
Chef of the Year from Bon Appetit and Esquire and a James Beard Award nomination for Best New Restaurant at Anthos which also received a Michelin star - one of only three Greek restaurants in the world
to hold that honor - as well as being named one of the best new restaurants by The New York Times restaurant critic, Frank Bruni in 2007. He currently owns Kefi, FISHTAG and MP Taverna.

MENU
Our menus are designed to accommodate two types of large events: private and semi-private. Event prices are based on the date, time, number of guests, and menu selections.
Custom menus are created for all events.
SPACE
We have two rooms on our second floor. The first can seat up to 75 guests for a sit-down dinner or standing cocktail reception. The second room can seat up to 20 people for a sit down dinner.
Larger seating accommodations for private parties are available on the main dining room. Please inquire for availability.

The Large Party Menu is for non-private events that are seated in the main dining rooms along with our
other patrons. The Large Party Menu may be used for brunch, lunch or dinner.
The size of the group may range from 11 to 25 guests. Large parties may be seated on both the main or second floor dining rooms. Seating designation is at the discretion of the restaurant depending on the
reservation date, size and time unless otherwise agreed prior to party date.
On Friday’s & Saturday’s large parties have only two reservation slots available for seating:
6:00pm (with a 2½ hour seating limit) or 8:30pm (unlimited seating time).
MENU
The Large Party Menu is a three (3) course meal selected from the following Signature Menu Items.
As the host you may select six (6) Meze and six (6) Entrée for your event. Dessert may be served in three separate ways: a la carte from the dessert menu, a choice of any two (2 ) to be
served family style for an additional $3.00/pp. or an custom made occasion cake for an additional $3.00/pp.
Once final selections have been made a customized menu is printed specifically for your event. As the menu is customized to the hosts needs we may include a title, date, logo, picture or any other insignia that would be
appropriate. There is also the option of not printing associated prices next to each selection.
There are no beverages included in the Large Party Menu. You may select a beverage package from the beverage options list.

A deposit of twenty percent of your estimated bill is required for private parties. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Final Guest Count is due three days prior to the scheduled event. Your Final Count must be
equal to or greater than your guarantee by no more than five people.
Final Payment will reflect the larger of either the Final Guest Count or the actual number of guests attending.
Upon supplying your Final Guest Count, a Final Payment amount will be supplied to you. Your Final Payment reflects your final count plus any additional options, tax and administration fee less your deposit.
Final Payment is non-negotiable and non-refundable.
Final Payment must be paid by Credit Card, Certified Check, Bank Check or Cash.
All Menu Choices must be received at least one week in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to event.
Final Payment is required the day of your scheduled event. All bank or certified checks should be made payable to MP Taverna. Any additional items incurred on the day of your event, and not included in your Final Payment Total,
must be paid the day of the event by credit card or cash. Personal Checks Are Not Accepted.
