Lotto: The Local Lotto Jackpot now stands at €19,000 Reserve Jackpot €10,000. The numbers drawn were 13, 15, 25 & 26 and there was no winner. Consolation winners of €30 each were Zach & Bill Flynn, P Delaney, L & B Furlong, Thos Dreelan & Sara Kelly. Tickets are on sale in Local Businesses and from Committee members costing €2Next draw on Monday September 28th at 9pm in Doyle’s Bar. All are welcome.

Just a quick update/clarification on lotto results from Mondays 14th. Apologies for misprint on the Lotto Results sheet-Printing 37 instead of 27( as there is no number 37 in the draw) just human error a genuine mistake. The Draw is done independently in one of the Pubs every Monday night and that Monday the numbers were drawn by one of the Staff in O'Driscoll's Bar. Number 27 was drawn but was misprinted as 37 on the results sheets. The public are always invited to attend the Draw every Monday night and check the balls if they so wish. The Jackpot is currently at €19,000 and both Clubs would love to see someone local scoop the big Prize soon, all is needed is to be lucky enough to pick the correct 4 numbers. When that jackpot is won we have another €10,000 Jackpot to kick in the following week. We wish you all the best of luck selecting your numbers. From the Committees of Graignamanagh GAA Club & Highview Athletic Soccer Club.

Used clothing bins: We encourage people to bring their clean used clothing, curtains, Bed Linen, towels, old shoes bags etc. to the recycling bins at the GAA Car Park.

Update on the wall: The wall is close to completion at the moment and it has already added greatly to the appearance of the area and is warmly welcomed by the local residents. The fence on top has been started and we hope it will be completed in the next week, once the fence is complete then Murty and his crew can finish out the project.

The Championship season proper starts this weekend when we meet our neighbours B & W’s in the 1st round in Inistioge at 4.30pm on Saturday. We wish the lads the best of luck, there is still all to play for, the winners go on to the ¼ final the losers have to wait another year. We are going in on the back of a win over Mooncoin and we encourage people to come support the team in Inistioge on Saturday. #nothingbeatsbeingthere!
