regulations and has been certified as a TP(a) rated product. Firelux UV also benefits from excellent UV stability. FireluxUV is fully recyclable and completely non-toxic - unlike many other lenses. The Firelux UV lens is a high performance, cost

effective alternative lens to other TP(a) rated lenses on the market today. Recent UV testing showsthat the Firelux UV lens maintains clarity and colour far longer than many other alternative products. The use of moreefficient higher output lamps requires greater UV / heat stability from the lens. Firelux UVprovides a solution to these

demanding requirements in one panel. Firelux UV can also be cold bent. Firelux UV is stocked in a number of differentsheet sizes and can be cut to the customer’s specification. For larger volume runs we can offer a cut on - line service that

Composition and ColourP12 Firelux Prismatic Lenses are extruded from high quality crystal clear resin mixed with a UV stabiliser added to enhance the lifeof the sheet under fluorescent lighting conditions. The standard sheet has a good life span in normal usage however, where “HighOutput” lamps are used or continuous lighting is required, acrylic or polycarbonate sheets should be considered.

AppearanceThe P12 Standard Style Lens is extruded with a 5mm diagonal female prism matrix on the bottom surface that has been developedfrom the original K12 pattern. The prism pattern panel has been designed to give greater strength and weight. The top surface of thispanel is smooth making it more suited for vacuum forming, moulding or fabrication. The pattern and thickness of the panel ensuresthat the light diffusion properties of this sheet are excellent for most general lighting applications.

CuttingPrismatic lenses can be cut using either a band saw or a circular saw. For further information, please contact our sales office.

FabricationP12 Firelux Sheet is suited for all types of fabrication work. Care should be taken to work within the manufacturers specifications.Copies are available upon request

FramingSLP offer a unique range of fire rated frames that can be used inconjunction with this product. The adaptable Easyfix range of frames aredesigned to fit many standard types of fluorescent and LED fixtures byutilising wishbone springs for retention. The solid TP(a) rated white framegives a modern attractive appearance and takes away the difficulties of smallrun production metal frames. Handling and MaintenanceHealth and Safety issues must be carefully assessed at all times. When handling panels clean dry lint free gloves should be worn.Prismatic lenses can be cleaned by light dry dusting or blowing off with a clean oil free airline. For more effective cleaning,washing with a light detergent can be carried out.

Disposal ConsiderationsProduct must be disposed of or incinerated in accordance with local regulations.

Flexilens - LED OverlaySLP offer a overlay to transform your clear prismatic panel to accommodate LED lamps. The new service will revolutionise yourcommodity panel by transforming the diffuser into a opal prismatic LED panel. This new service bonds a opal 0.25 mm flexilenspanel to the rear face of the prismatic panel to create a single, swarf free opal LED diffuser. The overlay diffuser will remove thelamp image created from LEDs whilst maintaining the direction control of the light source from the P12 prism layout.
