Points to note

Section A : To examine the options given carefully before choosing the best possible one.

Diagrams, pictures, graphs, tables, etc. given are for deriving additional information………….these need to be studied carefully.

Section B : To be precise and concise in the answers.

To give answers as required (Who, What, Where, Why, When, How?)

Concepts MUST be correct and clearly expressed. (No

deduction if grammatically incorrect provided idea/concept

is clear).

Key words DO NOT = Right Answer

If additional information which is wrong is included, marks

will also be deducted.

Monitoring and Assistance Help to ensure that your child knows the text book

content through and through. P3 to P5 content must be re-learnt.

Help your child to use concept maps to link concepts. Monitor work especially workbooks (application

based)…need to pay attention to corrections. Help to ensure that homework is done and handed in

on time ! Help to check that the boys follow the time-table and

has the “stuffs” required for the day’s Science lessons. Work closely with your child’s teacher.
