Description:A three fold duplex Brochure for a company. “Anyduplex (two-sided) folding document can beconsidered a brochure. Brochures come in all sizesand shapes. You may use any folding brochuredesign you want and any size you want. You mayuse one of the two sample layouts you did duringthe rst activity (newsletter or offset brochure) or

create something new. Use all three programs youhave learned to create your brochure: design alogo in Illustrator, edit images in Photoshop, and

design the brochure layout in InDesign.”

Process:I rst came up with the idea for my design. I

wanted to stick with the blogging theme. I createdan original logo for the company I made up,Blogging Benets. I aimed for something simple, but

professional. I worked with the images in Photoshop,

and Illustrator, before composing in InDesign. I put

everything together in Indesign.

Process:Tools used for this project was a picture I had onhand (taken by a photographer, then I boughtthe rights) and Microsoft Word. I chose to focus ontypography and hierarchy as taught in the FOCUSprinciples. Using Microsoft Word to design was anew concept to me and I struggled at rst. But, I

soon realized Microsoft Word has a lot to offer onthe design front, if used correctly. In applying whatI’ve learned so far this semester, I was able to create

Design a web page using HTML to display a logoand content.Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and basicunderstanding of CSS.Identify hex colors for web design.Compress multiple les in a zipped folder to attachas one le.

Process:I created the page using Notepad++. In Notepad Icoded an HTML and CSS. The CSS codes were usedwith help of Photoshop hex colors for the colors tomatch the logo. I then linked the HTML and CSStogether to create one web page. My nal web

page included over 200 words to describe theprocess of the creation of both logo and page.

Message: The logo I created was for Alyssa

saturation levels.Desaturate the selected portion of the image.Use a lter or colorize a portion of the image.

Process:For this project I used a photo I have taken of NewYork City. Utilizing Photoshop in Adobe CreativeSuite, I manged the different elements of the design

and created a design that was pleasing to theviewer according to the criteria that was outlinedby the class. I included the color scheme I chose togo along with the picture.take this nice shot. I thentook my image into Photoshop and cropped it to
