  • Web PageDescription: A web page highlighting a logo I createdProcess (Programs, Tools, Skills): This is a had coded webpage created using Notepad++ to create the HTML and CSS files. The web page uses simple CSS to create the styling of the page. Hexadecimal color values were found using color.adobe.com.   • Brochure Description: A brochure/ take-out menu for Cherry Blossom Japanese Cuisine.Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): Created in Indesign and Illustrator, this brochure consists of three separate documents. I used Indesign and some stock pictures of word i had from a previous project to create each of the boxes and the wood panels in the brochure. The logo was created in Illustrator to look like a cherry blossom, which is a common Japanese cultural reference. After a lot of tries I was able to recreate the logo when the brochure is folded and fit all of the elements into the box.Message: Come eat at Cherry BlossomAudience: Hungry people, mostly adultsColor scheme and color names: complementary, Green and redTitle Font Name & Category: Seago Script, scriptCopy Font Name & Category: Seago UI, scriptWord Count of copy: 250

  • LetterheadDescription:A collection of stationary designed for the fictional company Stealth Peak.Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): This week I used Indesign to make the letter head using shapes and the color scheme tool to coordinate my colors. I created the logo in Illustrator using the pen and text tools. I first created the logo in black and white, and then added the colors with the appropriate values. After modifying some of the colors to create more of a difference in color value, I created a larger version of my logo to create the water mark. Everything was then placed in Indesign and the typography added.Message: High end hunting goods and supplies.Audience: Hunters and sportsmen.Color scheme and color names: Complimentary, Green, BrickTitle Font Name & Category: Bembo Book MT Pro Bold, Old styleCopy Font Name & Category: Klint Std Sans Serif

The first image is of the green forest which serves as a background. The second is the raging fire that overlays the background. The third image is of the firefighter which is removed from his original image using a mask. I then used the color wheel and Adobe Kuler to create a color scheme for the poster. I balance the picture with the text and color swatches that i integrated in to the design. The simple color scheme and text are used to compliment each other. The images are designed to be well balanced both vertically and horizontally. I used a variety of different raspberry themed images for inspiration and to create the images.   • Event AdDescription: An event advertisement for The 007 Challenge to benefit the MI-6 Retirement and Relocation Fund.Process (Programs, Tools, Skills, FOCUS principles):This flier was created in Microsoft Word using the test boxes and images. I found a font that went nicely with the text in text in the picture, and I spent a good while trying to match the color of the top text to that of the 007 logo. I used the picture as a focal point and surrounded it with the text. After that I used the different sizes and colors of text to create a visual hierarchy with in the text.Message: Come test your skills against James Bonds an prove yourself.Audience: Very active people and spy movie fans.Color scheme and color names: Custom color scheme featuring gold, black, blue, and tan.Title Font Name & Category: KaiTi sans serifCopy Font Name & Category:KaiTi sans serif

  • FlierDescription: This flier is to advertise the Graduate Leadership Conference held by Voudant communicationsProcess (Programs, Tools, Skills):Adobe Indesign was used to create this project. I used simple over lapping to draw attention to the major information, because it better highlights the text. The overall design was used very few shapes and pictures to avoid distract the audience too much. I thought the variations in the different gray scale colors added interest as well. The overall idea of the poster was to look as sleek and modern as possible.Message: Attend the Graduate Leadership Conference this fall.Audience: The target audience is graduating college students.Title Font Name & Category: Tahoma is a Sans Serif Font.Copy Font Name & Category:Century is an old style font.
