DAP Audio now introduces brilliant sound in very compact sized cabinets; the Max series. An ideal series for fi xed installations in pubs, restaurants, clubs or home cinemas.

The range carries two satellites and one dual coil15” subwoofer. Due to its sophisticated design one sub-woofer and up to eight satellites can be driven by only one amplifi er. No cross-over is needed, as the subwoofer has its own built-in cross-over. Designed primarily for use in reproduced sound situations these compact, powerful systems are equally at home in distributed PA for speech and vocal reinforcement or light entertainment.

DAP hat eine neue Produktserie entwickelt, die keine Wünsche offen läßt: Die neue MAX-Serie ist ideal geeignet für feste Installationen in Pubs, Restaurants, Clubs oder Home-Cinemas. Die Produktserie enthält zwei Satelliten und einen 15” Subwoofer mit Doppelschwingspule. Dank seines raffi nierten Designs und ausgefeilter Technik können ein Subwoofer und mehrere Satelliten auf nur einem Verstärker laufen. Es ist kein Cross-over nötig, da der Subwoofer über einen eigenen eingebauten Cross-over verfügt. In erster Linie wurde die Max-Range für den Gebrauch bei Playback-Einsätzen entwickelt. The Stage Series is a speakerseries for musicians and any other stage artists. It’s a range of 6 speakercabinets each with its own specifi c fi eld of use and target audience. CX Series

Conventional Speakersystems with separate horn and low-mid-speaker provide a better dispersion, more effi ciency and the sound carries a long way. The advantages of coaxial speakers are different: high, mid and bass are integrated in one unit, with just one point as acoustical centre on the x, y and z axis. Therefore, no interferences jam the sound so that the distribution is uniform within the angle - a perfect sound relay. The CX-loudspeakers are suitable as monitor, fullrange-box and top unit.

Coaxial Range

Konventionelle Speakersysteme mit separatem Horn- und Low-Mid-Lautsprecher haben den Vorteil eines breiteren Abstrahlwinkels und eines besseren Wirkungsgrads, außerdem trägt der Klang sehr weit. Koaxial aufgebaute Lautsprecher bieten dagegen andere Vorteile: Höhen-, Mitten- und Tieftöne sind in einer Einheit integriert, mit nur einem Punkt als akustisches Zentrum, sowohl in der X-, Y- und Z-Achse. Hierdurch entstehen keine störenden Interferenzen mehr und das Klangbild bleibt innerhalb des Abstrahl-winkels immer gleich, wodurch eine perfekte Klangwiedergabe erreicht wird. Die CX-Lautsprecher sind deshalb besonders als Monitor, Fullrange-Box und Topteil geeignet.

PF-Series DAP

The DAP PF-series speakers are especially designed for multi purpose use, e.g. fl ying cabinet, top cabinet and wedge monitor use. Each PF-series speaker system has a very high power handling capacity and a very high effi ciency. Special attention is also given to the different ways of fl ying. The frames of the transducers are made of heavy die cast Aluminium which make the speaker system reliable for many years of usage. The high frequency horn can turn 90° counter clockwise for an optimal frequency response as a wedge monitor. Fi-nally all the PF-series have a smooth frequency response and a wide coverage angle of 90°.

The DAP X-Series is a new collection of professional high quality loudspeaker systems which are designed and developed by the DAP Audio R&D department in the Netherlands. Special attention is given to the transducers, high drivers, horn fl ares and passive crossovers, which will result in a wide coverage of the audience, optimal off-axis response (no mid dip) and optimal throw. The result is higher power handling capacity, high effi ciency and a very wide and smooth frequency response at any listening position. All the transducers have optimized Thiele Small Parameters and the high drivers have a very high effi ciency which gives the freedom of more power handling capacity, usage of high frequency correction and a transparent sound at the highest frequencies.

SoundMate Active 2 MK-II

Nach dem Riesenerfolg, den das SoundMate-1-System im Entertainbereich hatte, und der regen Nach-frage bei unseren Kunden ist das Nachfolgemodell SoundMate-2 entstanden. Auch hier bestand das Ziel darin, wieder ein komplettes Beschallungssystem zu bauen - kompakt & praktisch zugleich, aber erweitert um einige “Extras”. Das SoundMate-2 ist rundherum gelungen und kann schnell und einfach aufgebaut bzw. verkabelt werden (plug-and-play). Die Anlage ist road-tauglich, universell einsetzbar und verfügt über einen transparenten Sound mit dem nötigen Schub in den Tiefen. Natürlich sind die Stative, Kabel und Transport-taschen auch bei diesem Modell wieder im Preis inbegriffen. Das Stereo-PA-System besteht aus zwei Satel-liten mit 10”-Lautsprechern und CD-Horn, zwei 15”-Bässen mit eingebauten Endstufen, Rollen, Distanzstan-gen und zwei Lautsprecherkabeln. The DAP Concert series contains two active hornloaded subwoofers with exponential horngeometry and an active coaxial top unit. The active unit integrated on the backside provides a reliable power of 1200W/RMS so that the system has a high effi ciency. Therefore, the device has a dynamic powerful bass with a maximum sound pressure of 138 dB. The coaxial top unit with integrated amplifi er is suffi cient for heavy 1000W/RMS. All of the active systems of the DAP Concert Series include a subsonic fi lter, active-crossover 24dB and safety switches for protection against short circuit, overload and temperature. Each of them is protected separately against overload by a dynamic limiter and allows to play on limit over a large period of time. The DAP Audio Systems meets your high expectations. The bass basis is solid and provides an excellent impulse reproduction. The top unit creates a high-level audio-quality. The cabinet has a black fi nish and is made of solid roadproof 18mm Multiplex (ply-wood, 12 layers). Not only the fl exibility of combining the active components is excellent, but also the homogeneous sound distribution and - last but not least - the extremely nice price.

Concert Series

Die DAP Concert-Serie besteht aus zwei aktiven horngeladenen Subwoofern mit exponentieller Horngeometrie und einem aktiven koaxialen Topteil. Das rückseitig integrierte Aktivteil des Subwoofers stellt eine zuverlässige Leistung von 1200 Watt / RMS zur Verfügung. Das System hat einen sehr hohen Wirkungsgrad und sorgt für einen dynamischen, druckvollen Bass mit einem maximalen Schalldruck von max. 138 dB. Das koaxiale Topteil mit integrierter Endstufe bietet satte 1000 Watt / RMS. Alle Aktivsysteme der DAP-Concert-Serie beinhalten einen Subsonic-Filter, Aktiv-Crossover 24 dB sowie Schutzschaltungen für Kurzschluss, Überladung und Temperatur. Sie sind separat durch einen hervorragenden, dynamischen Limiter vor Überlastung geschützt und erlauben auch über einen längeren Zeitraum den Betrieb an der Leistungsgrenze. Das DAP-Concert-System genügt höchsten Ansprüchen. Das Bassfundament trägt gut und bietet eine hervorragende Impulswiedergabe, das Topteil sorgt für höchste Audioqualität. Die Gehäuse sind schwarz lackiert und aus stabilem roadtauglichen 18mm Sperrholz aus 12 Schichten. Exzellent sind auch die fl exible Kombinierbarkeit der aktiven Komponenten, das homogene Abstrahlverhalten und… last, but not least… der extrem günstige Preis.
