Ted owned Taylor Jewellery from 1957, located on Quilchena Avenue. It was family-operated for over 30 years. Ted collected this 1923 plate as it was his birth year. He always had a friendly greet- ing and a handshake for everyone, no mat- ter where you met him. A brass plate will be displayed to remember Ted in the Museum as a collector and a special person from our past. I feel I should care because our votes are one of the only ways we can influence important decisions that have to be made collectively. I care because until we have a fair vot- ing system all voices will not be repre- sented in government and the complex problems we face require input from all perspectives. As well, a voting system that accu- rately represents the votes cast is the foundation of a functional democracy and a necessary first step in dealing with the challenges we face in this province. Ted Taylor’s family donates to LicensePlate Museum

Earlier this month, the Merritt LicensePlate Museum was given a 1923 BC li-cense plate by the Taylor family.

Ted owned Taylor Jewellery from1957, located on Quilchena Avenue. Itwas family-operated for over 30 years.
