MASTERpak™ CAPABILITIES

SINGLE SKID PRETREATMENT, RO + EDI.

MECO’s packaged RO + EDI solution, the MASTERpak™, incorporates pretreatment, RO and EDI for efficient, easy-to-implement Purified Water production, all on a single skid. The MASTERpak™ is versatile enough to be customized to your specifications, and it is delivered, installed, validated and supported by a MECO service team that knows the importance of being responsive. From remote online monitoring and diagnostics to on-site service, MECO is there when and where you need us.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

Vertical multistage pump with integral VFD (variable frequency drive) will automatically adjust to maintain a constant feed flow,

ensuring a continuous production rate through a PID loop.

FEED LEVEL CONTROL VALVE

The feed level control valve is automated and positioned for ease of access, and maintains the feed level through a PID loop. This

compensates for fluctuation in feed water pressure at the edge of the skid.

MASTERpak™ IS THE TOTAL PACKAGE MECO’s MASTERpak™ system is a complete solution for producing Purified Water, as well as pretreating water for multiple effect stills and pure steam generators. It integrates MECO’s pretreatment, RO and EDI product technologies on a single packaged skid

with comprehensive services like commissioning, validation and preventive maintenance from the MECO MASTERsupport™ service center. This total solution ensures your compliance, eliminates field integration issues and provides you with exceptional value.

FULLY INTEGRATED HEAT SANITIZATION

A stainless steel break tank is provided with an integral immersion heater for both tempering and achieving sanitization temperatures via PID loop controls. Three separate sanitization

circuits are integrated into the MASTERpak™ system. The carbon filter, RO and EDI systems can be sanitized individually,

on their own schedules, thus minimizing down time and increasing sanitization effectiveness.

CONTROLS

Fully automated, PLC based control system. Control package is designed to continuously monitor all system PID loops, delivering precise control and trouble free operation. In addition MECO’s control systems support 21 CFR Part 11.

STAINLESS STEEL, SKID MOUNTED UNIT

All skid-mounted for faster installation on site with split-skid design for easy transport through the facility. The skid for MECO MASTERpak™ units is made out of stainless steel. This is another important feature in our design because stainless steel is non-corrosive and requires no maintenance.

CONVENIENT CLEANING

Simple cleaning connections for a quick and thorough chemical cleaning process.

A STRICT PROCESS FOR PURITYMASTERpak™ incorporates all of the components and instrumentation required for purification, yet is still versatile enough to be customized to your specific requirements. Each unit is factory assembled and fully wet-tested prior to shipment. Plus, we follow

rigorous company standards that exceed current industry guidelines for manufacturing. That way, we’re able to guarantee that each MASTERpak™ system will produce the quantity and quality of Purified Water required.

THE MASTERpak™ LT OPTION—The standard MASTERpak™ system is hot water sanitized. As an option, MECO offers MASTERpak™ LT, where the system is chemically sanitized.
