Hi!I’m Jay and I have a huge thirst for life. I am also evangelical about storytelling, especially when it comes to capturing real stories.
Having been married for a few years myself, I think marriage is very special and photographing a wedding is an amazing privilege for me. Each and every wedding is always an incredible journey and I personally can never wait to photograph the next one. I just adore taking photographs of couples on their wedding day and love to document the day in an imaginative, artistic way.
For me, photographs are more than just images on a screen or photos in an album. They are real moments captured in time. Photographs are emotive and have the power to move you, to transport you back to that moment in time, to make you laugh, to make you cry.

I live in Wimbledon, very close to the airport and travel the world photographing weddings. It really doesn’t matter to me where in the world you are planning your wedding, my passport is always up to date!

Background
& Style
My background is most probably different from other wedding photographers you will come across. I spent 10 years as a Creative in the TV industry and had my fair share of success along the way. During that time I was also a passionate photographer though more recently I’ve turned my attention towards creating a boutique photography business. Today, my primary focus is wedding photography. I am a huge fan of what’s known as visual storytelling. It is my belief that your wedding day should
be a day to remember, and when I say that, I mean the entire day. I like to arrive as early as possible and follow the whole of the preparations, both Bride & Groom, theceremony, formal portraits, the reception as well as the all importantparty afterwards. The images attempt to capture the atmosphere of the day in a way which is both candid and visceral.Most photographers offer 6 hours coverage as standard, though some of the most memorable moments happen when the party starts and everyone really begins to let their hair down. I rarely shoot less than 10 hours though most coverage tends to last 12 hours or more. So far all my couples have loved having me around all day.

Your big day should be all about you and how you want things to be. I will be there to photograph the day from beginning to end exactly as it unfolds, as naturally and stress free as possible.
My style of shooting is low key and famously unobtrusive. It is my aim to focus on capturing stunning photographs of you both as a couple that paint a complete picture of your wedding from the very start of the day to the very finish.
And I am not just referring to the main event, which is a given, but all the tiny important moments in between too.
My aim is to always keep things uncomplicated and inclusive. You will never see me checking the time desperate to get home, nor will you see me charging extra money for nasty hidden extras.
Everything has been designed to allow you both to relax, savour your day and afterwards receive a collection of timeless images that you will cherish forever.

*Unlimited wedding day photography coverageA no holds barred approach to photography which means that I will arrive when you’d like me there and will stay until I am needed! It’s your day and you dictate the terms of my day.
*Preview images onlineA preview of your wedding will be made available around two weeks after your wedding.
*Disc of edited high resolution imagesAll the fully edited, high and low resolution photographs from your day.Comes with your very own license to print to enable you to share withfriends and family and make prints of your own should you wish. While there is no quota on the number of photographs supplied, most weddings generate a minimum of 300 images.
*Online gallery and slideshowA safe place with password protection to share photos from the day with family and friends. Also includes a print ordering facility should guests like to buyphotographs.
Leather Albums
The leather albums from Jorgensen are unquestionably the world’s premium albums and used by the finest photographers on the planet. Each album is carefully hand made to order using only the very finest materials available inPerth, Australia where they are subsequently shipped to the UK.

FAQ
*WILL YOU HAVE TIME TO VISIT THE VENUE BEFORE THE BIG DAY?Absolutely. For me, being prepared is crucial. I will do a full recce to familiarise myself with the venue and seek out the best locations for us.
*DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH GROUP SHOTS?I will shoot group shots based on a pre-arranged list drawn up by the Bride and Groom though most couples prefer to limit them to a maximum of 20 minutes. I will ask that one or two guests are designated as ‘Photo Monitors’ to help gather the guests together and keep the day flowing.
*WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU OFFER FOR US PLANNING OUR SCHEDULE?It is vital that you are both relaxed on the day and I would recommend not trying to squeeze too much into your day. If your schedule allows for it, I highly recommend around 45 minutes for your portraits.The best time of the day for these photos is the hour before sunset. It’s called The Golden Hour and the light is divine at this time.
*WHEN WILL WE SEE OUR PHOTOS?Within two weeks I will upload a selection of images from your weddingfor you to view whilst you are on your honeymoon. The complete collectionof images will normally be despatched on disc around weeks after your wedding.
*HOW DO WE MAKE A BOOKING?We arrange a date for you to meet with me first - it’s essential that we all get along on your wedding day! Please ring or email and we’ll organise this. Once a meeting has been booked we will hold your wedding date for you. To securethe date in my diary a £500 deposit is required at the time of booking. Fordestination weddings, my travelling expenses are required at the time ofbooking to allow me to book flights and accommodation etc.
