The sale will be highlighted by a wonderful grouping of jewelry by Fred Leighton, including a contemporary Geometric Bangle designed in an Art Deco style, set with three hexagonal-cut green chrysoprase, enhanced by

 

circular-cut diamonds, within a black jade surround, mounted in 18k white gold ($7,000-9,000). Also from Fred Leighton is a pair of gold Etruscan Revival Ear Pendants from the 1870’s, which speak to contemporary fashion while recalling ancient jewelry, with their enamel and seed pearl decoration, and suspended gold conical drops ($600-800) – pictured on page 1.

The handbag selection encompasses the most iconic designs from Hermès, including a Rouge Vif Epsom Leather Retourné Kelly 35 Bag with Gold Metal Hardware ($10,000-15,000) – pictured on page 1, and a Barenia Leather and Toile Ghillies Birkin 35 with Brushed Palladium Hardware ($12,000-18,000). Home Accessories

The sale features a scope of elegant décor and accessories for the tabletop and vanity. The selection is led by a set of six silver and silver-gilt goblets from Christian Dior, designed to evoke German goblets from 17th Century ($2,500-3,000) and a 1950s Vanity Case by Boucheron, which is composed of Paris Silver and silver-gilt with openwork motifs of flowered branches and birds set with twelve ruby cabochons. Mid-century modernism is represented by a Diamond Coffee Service designed in 1958 by Gio Ponti and John Axel Prip for Reed & Barton ($2,000-3,000) – pictured on page 1.
